A trail to discover the ruins of the ancient fortress of Château-Villain and the castral chapel.
These "losses" have everything to show. The curiosity here is precisely that the river Ain disappears to re-emerge 100 m below. It gets "lost" in a narrow (less than 2 m wide) and deep (up to 15 m) gorge. When it rains heavily, the water bubbles up and comes out in an impressive waterfall. It feeds a power station since 1922. A path from the "Les Chamois" car park allows you to get closer to it and higher up, to discover the ruins of the old fortress of Château-Villain and the castral chapel. On foot, by bike and picnic break.
