Large house with 2 spacious and comfortable cottages, one for 8 people and the other for 12.
In this small village at the gateway to the Haut-Jura, chamois invite themselves at the end of the day on the cliffs overlooking this complex of gites/rooms and restaurants. Surrounded by meadow and forest, this large house has 2 spacious and comfortable gîtes, one for 8 people (Pertes de l'Ain), the other for 12 (Château Villain). On the other hand, there are 6 rooms for 21 people (including suites), a restaurant, a room that can accommodate seminars and a small bar where you will meet villagers who have come to have a coffee or taste the good regional cuisine that is offered at low prices. The shop which contains many specialities serves as a local shop with its bread depot and the sale of fishing cards. A good place to stay for a few nights to enjoy the surroundings rich in natural beauty such as the Pertes de l'Ain... and perhaps to get acquainted with the chamois!

Le restaurant manque de charme,de rangement et de coherence, il a pourtant bcp de potentiel.
Nous avons tout de meme manger une excellente fondue, au tarif plus que correct.
La charcuterie "soi-disant local" de très basse qualité et beaucoup trop de vin blanc dans la fondue !!
Au moment de payer j'ai signalé a la responsable qu'il serait bien de proposer une meilleure qualité de charcuterie, se qui a été très mal pris avec une réaction impolie et irrespectueuse de leurs part en tout points du début à la fin. TRES DÉÇU ; notre famille étant dans la restauration de qualité nous regrettons cette expérience et cet arrêt dans ce lieu. Triste d'être dans le Jura et de subir ce manque de qualité sur des produits supposés être de cette région.
ETABLISSEMENT A EVITER si vous souhaitez un moment agréable et de qualité.
