A true emblem of Bordeaux, the Canelé is a delicacy that dates back to the 16th century. It is a pastry made of flour, eggs, milk, vanilla and rum... at first sight, nothing exceptional, you might say? And yet, it is a real challenge, when you try to prepare them yourself, to succeed in the feat of obtaining a soft Canelé inside and crispy outside. If the real recipe is posted on the website, the Petit Futé advises you to leave your silicone molds aside and go to this store where you will receive a warm welcome. Located along Sautel Boulevard, near the ring road, the store perpetuates a unique know-how making these small caramelized cakes particularly delicious! You can even try other specialties such as tourtières, caramels with Canelés chips and the brand new product: the Bordeaux Canelés spread! If you are not on the spot and you wish to make discover the Canelé to your close relations, know that you can order on line and that you will be delivered under 24 hours! During the holiday season, we recommend that you order from your local store.

Open Monday and Saturday from 8am to 7pm. Open on Sunday (8am to 1pm). Canelé gros 0,75 €, Canelé lunch 0,55€, Canelé bouchée 0,45 € (unit price including VAT). Sales in the store and on the Internet (home delivery within 24h).
