With a rich history, a preserved heritage and a privileged geographical location, the town of Artigues offers the charm of a rural commune on the outskirts of Bordeaux. Discovery is on foot: from the fishermen's pond to the Château de Betailhe. Built in the 12th century, the presence of two turrets and numerous outbuildings bear witness to the architecture of this period. Next to it stands the Romanesque church. The rest of the route will take you to Lestrille Castle, built in the 17th century. Then passing through the Bois Margnat, the vineyards of the Domaine Le Gay, owned by the Boursaud family, and the Bois de Feydeau, you will arrive at the Château de Feydeau, which is home to the town's art schools as well as the contemporary dance centre Le Cuvier.
