Le Bouchon du Marché is open when the market is open. You can set up at the counter or on the large terrace at your disposal. We can observe at leisure the market's activity and the friendly and efficient team. Le Bouchon is open from 6:30am, so you can have breakfast there. Every day, the Chef offers you several suggestions, including a daily special at a very interesting price like a lean wild line, carrot purée and small vegetables. On the menu, you can enjoy charcuterie dishes, tortillas, pickled herring, market-fresh vegetarian dishes, rib steaks or duck breasts. As for the dessert, opt for XXL gourmet coffee, it is a star. Eric Hameau and his partner Alexandra, Alex for the regulars, have given this place a playful and dynamic atmosphere that makes you feel good. A great place to eat a traditional and good dish at more than reasonable prices for the area. The service is smiling, impeccable and fast.

Terrible breakfast. Eggs were barely cooked. Can only hope salt kills potential salmonella bacteria as they seem to have poured half the bottle of salt on the eggs. That’s not bacon. I guess it’s some type of British style ham. Flavorless hot chocolate - not sure how it’s possible to do that in France . Uninterested server.

De passage à Arcachon, petite halte au marché où nous avons fait une bien belle découverte!!! Planches charcuteries et fromages de qualité, personnel sympathique +++ très bonne ambiance. Nous avons passé un bon moment, nous reviendrons avec plaisir!!

Traumlage direkt in und vor der alten Markthalle. Wir haben 2 x Fischfilet auf einem Gemüsebrett, mit Reis und frischem Salat gegessen und dazu einen guten Weißwein getrunken. 1 Flasche Tafelwasser wie üblich umsonst. Mit Kaffe zusammen € 44. Das essen war sehr gut zubereitet und es hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Die Speisekarte besteht aus einem großen Brett und ist selbstverständlich nur auf französisch. Die Bedienung war uns Deutschen gegenüber aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Dans les halles d'Arcachon. Lieu animé et donc un peu bruyant. C'est le seul bémol.
Cuisine très bonne, plats copieux et service très agréable. Bref, une bonne adresse pour le déjeuner.
