Above the Dordogne river, in a guest house of 5 rooms with all comforts and a swimming pool very close to the castle of Montfort.
Virginie and Eric took over this charming B&B in 2023. The 5 rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated with antique furniture. Three of them have a superb view of the Château de Montfort! There's a large living room and a mezzanine for relaxing indoors, a garden with deckchairs and a swimming pool that's great fun on sunny days! You can also book a massage on site. A short stroll will bring you to the village, or to the banks of the Dordogne, as you wish. Table d'hôtes on reservation.

Nous avons passé 4 jours à La Barde Monfort. Comme c’était notre première fois dans une maison d’hôtes nous ne savions pas à quoi nous attendre. Virginie et Éric ont mis la barre haute! Mis à part les copieux déjeuners, le confort de notre chambre (Orphée), la beauté du lieu (jardin, terrasse, vue sur le château) et sa proximité aux must-see du Périgord, nous retenons avant tout les 2 personnes que sont Virginie et Éric : chaleur humaine, à l’écoute, judicieux conseils, respect de la bulle de leurs invités et dans notre cas, une complicité empreinte d’humour et d’authenticité dont nous gardons un excellent souvenir.
