Above the Dordogne river, in a guest house of 5 rooms with all comforts and a swimming pool very close to the castle of Montfort.

Virginie and Eric took over this charming B&B in 2023. The 5 rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated with antique furniture. Three of them have a superb view of the Château de Montfort! There's a large living room and a mezzanine for relaxing indoors, a garden with deckchairs and a swimming pool that's great fun on sunny days! You can also book a massage on site. A short stroll will bring you to the village, or to the banks of the Dordogne, as you wish. Table d'hôtes on reservation.

We really enjoyed our 6-night stay at La Barde. The accommodation is excellent, and the location is charming, quiet and ideal for sightseeing around the Dordogne. Most importantly, Eric and Virginie are lovely hosts - welcoming, efficient and helpful. We opted for the table d'hote dinner on our first night, and after that opted for the dinner on every night when it was available, as Virginie's cooking is so outstanding.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de vriendelijke uitbaters Virginie en Eric, die ons heel veel informatie gegeven hebben over de streek en bezienswaardigheden.|Alles was zeer goed verzorgd, de kamers, de tuin en zwembad en het lekkere ontbijt.|We hebben ook genoten van Virginie haar culinaire kookkunst en natuurlijk de attente bediening van Eric.|Topmensen!!!

La Barde Montfort est un magnifique petit gîte très bien situé. Notre chambre était propre, confortable et était accompagnée d'une superbe frangance qui a ajoutée une petite touche magique à notre séjour.|Le point fort de notre séjour n'a toutefois pas été là chambre, mais bien l'accueil de nos hôtes Virginie et Éric. Nous avons opté pour un dîner au gîte cuisiné par Virginie et le tout était sublime.||En résumé, nous recommandons fortement de séjour chez Virginie et Éric durant votre séjour dans la région!

Chambre spacieuse, joliment décorée.
Repas : excellent et typique grand moment de partage.

De très beaux et bons conseils sur la région et culinaire. A découvrir car très belle région.
