In 1970 Pierre Shasmoukine invested this forest area to compose, over time, a set of creations on two hectares: 3 courses of works in nature and 8 indoor galleries, which are 600 works of kinetic, unusual surrealist art, naive art, facilities, land-art, humorous conceptual (fixed ideas to put on the mental door provided for this purpose...). Pierre Shasmoukine welcomes visitors in his inspiration, his breathing and his personal creations alongside those of guest artists. The visit time of these plastics follies is unlimited: in summer, you can discover the site in the afternoon, plan to stay on site in the evening on the free picnic area, and fill your eyes at night because the night tour is another magic... You can even stay the night in a guest room. This different world is indescribable, the best is yet to immerse yourself in the heart of this unique place, which, like its creator, seems straight out of a short story by Tolstoï. This geo-concept, ecological before the hour, is a multi-art field. Children, particularly, will find the keys to imaginary world. Over time, the village has deteriorated. With his sister, the artist launched a call to make it a place to stay and exhibition for young artists.

Following comments as for the poor quality of our services for the management of your reception in Gorodka, I allow me to speak in the name of the entire team of Gorodka, and of course, the artist himself, all our excuses.
Be sure that we're sorry of this service and caused. Hoping that this incident will not completely causes of them the good intentions that you had coming in Gorodka.
Indeed, we did not have the team formed and complete, and had some problems. What does not correspond arrived at all to the policy of the place, which normally, is generous and welcoming. You should know that Gorodka is primarily a wedding, which still exists, grace, and mainly, the artist, volunteers, the resources of visits and therefore thanks to you. Unfortunately, it is not so easy to find volunteers. However, they allow you to implement one maintains the place and its services, and support for the artist, which, in fact flaw these days, we are aware of it.
The motivated regional specialty is setting up itself, we want a sincere renaissance square and to share this new positive energy. The person who is responsible for the visits today, Françoise, know very well the place and the artist, and interesting and full guided tours every visitors. Furthermore, a team of creative and passionate young people organize itself to come to give a new life to this place.

Accueil déplorable, par l'artiste et sa famille en train de prendre l'apéro qui ont envoyé une enfant de 6ans nous recevoir. Pas un sourire ni un mot pour les visiteurs.
Tarif annoncé par la soeur de Pierre avec froideur et absence de sympathie : 10 euros par personne, même tarif pour les enfants (12ans). Etonnant pour un tarif officiel sur Internet et sur les guides de 8 euros ....
Explications du site données par Eva, seul point positif de la visite, car sincère et accueillante ! N'arrêtait d'ailleurs pas de s'excuser de l'absence d'entretien.
En bref, on est loin de découvrir les 2 hectares et les 400 oeuvres annoncées : on parcourt des terrains en friche, à l'abandon dont la plupart des sculptures sont à rénover, avant de rentrer dans des "galeries", ou plutôt des salles poussiéreuses, où s'amoncellent tableaux cassés, moisissures et installations électriques dangereuses.
Et pendant que toute la famille fait un barbecue à l'extérieur, c'est donc à nous, visiteurs, d'allumer et d'éteindre toutes les lumières ...
Les 50 euros étant censés financer l'entretien du site, nous avons surtout l'impression de participer financièrement à leur apéritif, sans pour autant y être invités ...
Parlons des "illuminations" qui n'apportent pas grand chose car soulignent surtout l'état de délabrement des oeuvres et la saleté ambiante !!!
Conclusion : lamentable, médiocre, à fuir.
