Inn in Sarlat-la-Canéda offering fresh products and a good value lunch menu.
In this 16th century private mansion, right next to the Sainte-Marie fountain, we are under the spell. Romain attaches importance to working with fresh products and he surrounds himself with suppliers from the South-West: the ice creams come from Roland Manouvrier, the coffee from the Brûlerie Sarladaise, etc. The lunch menu is very good value for money. In the low season, every Thursday, a dish from the Périgord is featured: mique, stuffed cabbage, Périgord cassoulet... The most : the discovery of the cave hidden at the bottom of the restaurant.

Service express. On sent la volonté des serveurs d’écourter au maximum leur temps de service. Cuisine sans surprise, ni bonne , ni mauvaise. Un restaurant à touristes vraiment quelconque.

Dégustation d'une assiette de foie gras que l'on a partagé à 3. Puis moi et mon conjoint avons pris le magret de canard avec la sauce truffe et ses pdt sarladaises.. Miam un véritable délice. Cuisson respecté et parfaite. Mon fils a pris la truite qui était succulente aussi. Je recommande pour la cuisine, le cadre, service sympathique et rapide.
Ps : Les chiens de toute taille sont acceptés et bien accueilli c'est génial. Merci pour ce moment avec le pti passage dans la grotte en supplément qui fait son effet
