Here is a temple of the Haut-Doubs salting industry. This house, which is more than forty years old, has been managed by the Nicolet family for 10 years. It makes it a point of honour to pass on know-how and to defend the most traditional artisanal values. Beef and pork meats are processed on site and then smoked in a huge chimney. You can also visit this vast chimney, which is characteristic of the region. It is in this chimney that the salting and smoking takes place. You will find all these products in the pretty adjoining shop where they are surrounded by other regional products. As you are in the "République du Saugeais", don't forget to bring your special pass... the house will give it to you.
