The Cusancin dug its valley over a few kilometres in the limestone of the lias east of Baume-les-Dames. It takes its source in the bottom of this remote to throw itself into the Doubs. This first class river crosses small villages of charm and authentic nature. Each step has its treasures, from Pont-les-Moulins, to its mill of yesteryear, to the Val de Cusance and its famous blue source through the thermal baths of Guillon-les-Bains. Panoramic view from the chapel of Saint-Ermenfroi, the valley offers the pleasure of walkers of all ages.
