Cléron Castle, with a beautifully preserved keep that is part of the defense system dating from the Middle Ages

The visit of this castle built in 1320 is forbidden. It was redesigned in the 15th and 18th centuries. On the other hand, the discovery of the gardens and the well-designed alleys will delight more than one. You will admire the building, and its facade ornaments, as well as its keep overlooking the Loue. The latter is part of the defence system dating from the Middle Ages, admirably preserved, to protect the circulation of salt.
