Museum retracing the life and work of the great man Babbu di a Patria, who wanted and hoped so much for his land and people

This property of the General Council of Haute-Corse retraces the life and work of the great man who wanted and hoped so much for his land and his people. Born in 1725, Pasquale Paoli trained in political affairs in Naples before returning to Corsica to run for the post of general-in-chief of the Corsican nation. He decreed Corsica independent, advocated democracy and established a constitution recognizing the sovereignty of the Corsican people and the separation of powers.

Opening time and information on PAOLI PASCHAL DEPARTMENTAL MUSEUM

Open all year round. May 1 to October 15, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. May 16 to September 30, Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm. Closed on public holidays except July 14 and August 15. Last admission 30 minutes before closing. Free admission for children under 10. Adults: €4. Reduced admission : 3 €. Credit cards not accepted. Guided tour (film).

Un accueil agréable par une guide chaleureuse et passionnée.
Un bel endroit à la hauteur de ce personnage historique qui ne doit pas être oublié.

Excellent musée très complet et pédagogique sur la vie de Pascal Paoli, visite en trois partie ( musée, maison type castagniccia et chapelle ) . Le personnel est très agréable, bref je recommande !!

Beautiful museum that traces the history of the Corsican patriot Pasquale Paoli. I was greeted by a young girl who spoke English very well. After visiting the museum, she showed me the adjacent chapel where Pasquale Paoli rests. The collection of documents inside is very interesting. Park on the street for free.
