This property of the General Council of Haute-Corse retraces the life and work of the great man who wanted and hoped so much for his land and his people. Born in 1725, Pasquale Paoli trained in political affairs in Naples before returning to Corsica to run for the post of general-in-chief of the Corsican nation. He decreed Corsica independent, advocated democracy and established a constitution recognizing the sovereignty of the Corsican people and the separation of powers.

Un lieu qui parle d'un homme qui fut tout autant important pour l'histoire que Napoléon....Pasquale Paoli ! Très bien fait avec des écrans interactifs et de belles pièces de collection. A découvrir absolument.

Déjà c'est un de mes ancêtres dans mon arbre généalogique et belle expérience et de plus très beau musée. A ne pas manquer pour ceux qui peuvent aller voir.
