This little bar on the Place du Marché is run by Tony Guglielmacci, a well-known Calvain figure, guitarist and singer in his spare time. Regulars come here to chat at the bar, eat tapas and enjoy charcuterie from the Ortu mountains. In the heterogeneously furnished room, you can enjoy the music distilled by singers and musicians from Balagne and elsewhere, who get together for joyful impromptu concerts. This unusual bar is appreciated for its warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere.

Coming from Australia, it can be a little overwhelming in Corsica at times. Certainly was the first time I visited. But I can honestly say Tony and his team are superb (even if they make fun of my accent). Great drinks, food and genuine kindness. You might even run into Tao-by. This is were the locals go
