This century house has frescoes from the century, discovered and restored in 2011. And the architecture is worth a visit!

This 14th century patrician residence, listed as a Historic Monument, contains frescoes dating from the 15th century, discovered and restored in 2011. This unique set of medieval paintings in Aquitaine depicts historical chivalrous scenes on a stylized landscape background and represents the nine valiant men: the pagans Alexander, Caesar and Hector; the biblical heroes Joshua, Judas and David; and the Christian heroes Charlemagne, King Arthur and Godfrey of Bouillon. An exceptional guided tour in the heart of a private house in Belvès, called "the Castle".
