Café-brasserie in the heart of the pedestrian center of Périgueux, open every day: the terrace is ideal on market days.

Another mythical place near the covered market in the heart of downtown: the Café de la Truffe was taken over in January 2023 by Mathieu Plicque, owner of the Improbable. What matters to him: keeping the "market" spirit! It's a café brasserie like so many others, but its location, and especially its atmosphere, make it an institution, a typically Perigordian meeting place where the latest news from the city spreads like wildfire (politicians even do their campaigns there). You can always count on this address!
