On site, take a seat in the tearoom to enjoy a real hot chocolate, specialty coffee or English tea, accompanied by local pastries. A place for sharing and living, the bookshop also offers English and Spanish courses. A real cultural café, lively and friendly, a must-see.

Opening time and information on BOUKIE'S BOOKSHOP
English-language bookshop in the heart of Périgueux, open Mondays from 2pm to 7pm and Tuesdays to Saturdays from 9am to 7pm. Boukie's Bookshop offers English-language books of all genres and for all ages (books can of course be ordered). The bookshop is also a café, offering specialty coffees, teas and local pastries to accompany your reading. What's more, the American bookseller offers English courses for those who'd like to learn or improve their English. It is possible to privatize the premises for events of up to 20 people.

Welcome to Boukie's Bookshop!
Originally from New York, I wanted to create a warm and lively place here in Périgueux, where books, languages and cultures meet. You'll find a wide selection of books in English and French, for all ages, both new and second-hand.
But it's much more than a bookshop: it's a cultural café, a place where you can learn English or Spanish, enjoy a good specialty coffee, a homemade hot chocolate or discover a local gin.
