Since 2004, Stéphane Manigaud, artisan pastry chef, has been honoring French pastry and chocolate-making. For twenty years, his daring and deliciously inventive creations have been a rare source of pleasure: pavlova, tarts, mille-feuilles, operas, macarons and chocolates. A catering section offers brioche crabe, surprise breads and sweet and savoury petits fours. Exquisite hot drinks are served in the refined tea room. New: a daily special featuring seasonal produce. Based in Orléans, Aux Palets Or is a patisserie-chocolaterie run by Stéphane Manigaut, an artisan in these fields since 1991. A founding member of the Relais Dessert association, he broadened his experience in Japan and Bermuda, where he learned the subtleties of catering patisserie from a renowned French craftsman. Returning to France, he took over the establishment in 2004 with his wife Agnès, whom he had met in a restaurant in Champagne. Together, they share their passion for sweet treats at family events such as birthdays and weddings. Among their specialties, discover a variety of macaroons, filled with jam or ganache, mixing classic flavors with original ones like lime, vanilla, strawberry poppy and hazelnut. They also innovate by creating new flavors as the seasons change. Explore the range of exceptional chocolates, made from the finest cocoa, available in bonbons, tablets, spreads and other specialties, including the famous Citronnettes.
