The visit of this old underground quarry allows you to discover the places where the tufa stone was extracted and used to build the great buildings of the region. It is also here that the gold reserves of the Bank of France were sheltered during the Second World War. The wines of Domaine Jean-Maurice Raffault, Domaine de l'Abbaye and Domaine du Raifault are aged here in optimal conditions. Visitors are invited to discover the beautiful history of this place and to taste some of the best wines produced in Chinon.
