Château de Coulaine is an old family estate handed down from generation to generation. Vines have been grown here since the 15th century. In 1534, Coulaine was mentioned by Rabelais in Gargantua. In 1937, the estate obtained the Chinon appellation, and in 1994 it was awarded the "Agriculture Biologique" label Today, Tatiana and Jean Denys de Bonnaventure successfully manage a production distinguished by its purity. They will be delighted to share their passion with you through guided tours of their vineyards and winery, and wine tastings.
