Château de Coulaine is an old family estate, handed down from generation to generation. Vines have been grown here since the ^15th century. In 1534, Coulaine was mentioned by François Rabelais in Gargantua. The Véron vineyard is one of the oldest in Touraine. Since its opening in 2004, in the center of Beaumont-sur-Véron, the vast and elegant Maison des Vins du Véron, remarkable with its cellars in the tufa stone with sculpted walls, presents and defends 23 winegrowers of the Véron region who benefit from the AOC Chinon.
