They grow cereals, sugar beet, potatoes, corn and tomatoes. And their dairy cows produce quality milk for delicious dairy products. But the Ferme en Ville also offers much more, through partner farmers, breeders and beekeepers (displayed in the shop window) based in the region. There's everything you need to fill the fridge: fruit, vegetables, eggs, milk, creams, cheeses, meats, charcuterie, soups, yoghurts, honey, cookies... The produce is beautiful and the colors tantalize the appetite! Inside, freshness is the order of the day to preserve all these delicacies. Here, quality is handed down from generation to generation. It all began with the Dupré grandparents, who were greengrocers and keen market-goers. The tradition was carried on by their son, Alain, and granddaughter, Céline, who now run the store in Lille (the Dupré family also have a store in Ronchin!). The aim of this passionate family? To favor a short circuit for local, quality products at reasonable prices. As a result, local producers have pride of place throughout the store. However, local salads, endives and mushrooms also rub shoulders with exotic fruits from the islands! There really is something for everyone. And Vergers Dupré doesn't stop there. They also offer freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh soups and other delicatessen items, not to mention a little extra advice on how to prepare your fruit and vegetables successfully. Last but not least, you can even have baskets made for fresh, original gifts! A must for anyone who loves the friendly atmosphere of a local store and the quality of local produce!

Every day, Julie Daddi gets up in the morning, pockets her order book from her website, and sets off to visit the local producers and craftsmen who supply her with fruit and vegetables, meat, charcuterie, dairy products, eggs, bread... (some fifteen suppliers in all). In the afternoon, she delivers to her customers' homes (Tuesday to Saturday), throughout the Lille area. It's a simple, effective concept that brings a bit of the countryside to the city, and guarantees customers fresh produce picked that very morning. The comprehensive site also features an organic grocery section. It's a simple and convincing way to work with local producers and artisans.
