A must for all the inhabitants of Lille, since the Middle Ages an important market and the Théâtre du Nord have been held here.

The famous Grand'Place, renamed in honor of General de Gaulle on August 12, 1944, is located in the heart of the city, a stone's throw from Vieux-Lille. It's a must-see for the people of Lille. They've been gathering here since the Middle Ages, when it was the site of a large market! Old cobblestones can still be found in the center of the square. Also worth seeing are the Goddess Column, the Flemish facade of La Voix du Nord, the Théâtre du Nord and, of course, the Vieille Bourse.

Avec ses bâtiments historiques et sa fontaine, elle est le lien entre les rues piétonnes et le vieux lille. idéale pour boire un verre dès qu'un rayon de soleil pointe son nez, même en hiver (au chaud).

Superbe place avec son architecture Flamande. Elle est souvent le cadre de manifestations et animations. Lorsque nous y avons été, un superbe Dragon lumineux était allumé sur la façade du batiment principal ainsi qu'une animation musicale le samedi soir.
