This palace remains one of Lille's rare vestiges of flamboyant Gothic architecture. It now houses the Tourist Office.
The Rihour Palace is a reminder of the Dukes of Burgundy. Indeed, it was in 1453 that Philip the Good (1396-1467) began to build it on the marshy islet of the Rihoult, and it was completed twenty years later by his son, Charles the Bold. Although the main staircase and the conclave room are the only survivors of the 1916 fire, this palace remains one of the rare vestiges of flamboyant gothic architecture in Lille: admire the slender arches in the guard room, the chapel and the sacristy with their superb stained glass and mullioned windows
