Nord Nature is the Regional Federation of Nature and Environment Protection Associations of Hauts-de-France. It comprises 46 associations and over 3 500 individual members throughout the region. For 45 years, the federation has been acting for the environment in many different ways. It works first to knowledge and preservation of nature in all its diversity (fauna, flora, natural resources, water, air…). Throughout the year, it informs and educates the general public about all these issues by organizing exhibitions and training days. It also plays a leading role in environmental education by making conferences and putting in place many nature outings. Finally, Nord Nature participates in more than 100 formal commissions, both locally and nationally, to promote a vision of sustainable and sustainable development.
