CONSERVATOIRE DE LILLE

The Lille Conservatory has several departments (music, dance, theatre, classical, contemporary, Afro-Cuban, jazz or old music… symphony orchestra or chamber music…) but the most important one is that of music, with individual lessons from the PC to the TDG ferry (technology, music and dance). Registration is done in June, a review is completed each annual session. In addition to the "contemporary" instruments (bass, battery, double bass, guitar, piano, sax, copper), the old instruments occupy a large place (viole, hautbois…). Each year, the Conservatory accommodates 1 900 students, who pay a flat rate based on their parents'means. At the Conservatory in Lille, «nothing objects because everything is composed».
