LE CLARANCE HÔTEL * * * * *
Boutique-hotel with more luxurious, decorated rooms overlooking Old Lille.
Housed in a handsome 18th-century townhouse, the Clarance hotel offers 27 beautiful rooms, named after poems by Baudelaire, including a 77m2 suite on the top floor. Fireplaces and views of Sainte-Catherine Cathedral add to its charm. The house is decorated with portraits of fairy tales and paintings by Ben Bella. On the first floor, there's a bar/tea room and a Michelin-starred restaurant run by chef Alexandre Miquel, which showcases the region. The "Oasis Nature" certified garden, with its organic vegetable garden and aromatic plants, is also worth a visit.
