With their delicious Afro-fusion cuisine, Tontons Afro takes you on a journey to Africa for a meal surrounded by colorful stuffed animals and irresistible Afro music.

Their generous dishes and varied, visually stunning cocktails are served by an attentive team. Our suggestion: the "Surf and Turf" with three meats (duck/chicken/beef) and Cameroon-style marinated fish with yellow rice, allocos and red beans.

Be prepared to feast... and take along a doggy-bag: it's impossible to spoil such delicious food!

L'adresse est un Must à tester sur Lille quand on veut goûter de la bonne cuisine africaine, généreuse dans un endroit tendance, bien décoré et instagramable comme on les aime! Nous nous sommes régalés avec un plateau pour 2 avec du poisson, des grillades, de l'agneau (hyper fondant! Il faudrait un plat avec cette viande). J'ai pris un succulent cocktail au bissap et mon mari un au gingembre et citron. Le service était bien dans l'ensemble, il nous manquait des sauces qui ont été rajoutées et nous avons gentiment eu un doggy bag. Nous reviendrons certainement en groupe pour tester l'étage au-dessus!

J’aurais mis -10 si j’avais pu.
Attente sur le service 1h30 entre les cocktails et les plats, ça c’est une habitude.
Heureusement la cuisine reste bonne, mais alors quand le serveur fait une erreur sur l’addition, c’est le client qui trinque !
Menace, intimidation, harcèlement et j’en passe…
