CANOA DE PUNTA UMBRÍA
Read moreUntil 1965, these canoes were the only way to link the capital Huelva to the port of Punta Umbria, crossing the river Odiel. Since then, this crossing has also been possible via a bridge, and in October 2015, this historic maritime route was declared to be of Andalusian tourist interest. Now, during the summer season (late June to late September), it resumes its crossings from the muelle del Levante in Huelva to the muelle de la Plaza Pérez Pastor. It's a very pleasant ride through the salt marshes, lasting around 1 hour.
