Five days of festivities and, above all, feasting in the town of Rockland to pay tribute to Maine's most famous crustacean. Visitors are invited to sample fresh lobster in a variety of ways, attend workshops and cooking contests, enjoy outdoor concerts and discover local crafts. It's a historic annual event (since 1947) and emblematic of Maine's maritime culture. The Maine Lobster Festival donates all profits to the communities of Midcoast Maine and employs only volunteers.
