Mikro Karavi means "little boat" in Greek, a real hidden culinary treasure of Tinos. Once in the old port, you can recognize the entrance by a sign depicting a small white boat on a dark green background, hanging above the tiny porch. Inside, Greek and international cuisine is served in a green garden. You can enjoy fish, pasta, creative meat dishes, salads and homemade desserts. You will find mainly locals in this quiet, relaxing, fresh place, offering new Greek cuisine.

The restaurant's name means "the president's place": indeed, Theodoros' father was mayor of the village of Ano Mera. Offering authentic Myconian cuisine, the dishes are simple and the quality of the many local products used is all the more evident. Choose from pasta, grilled meats or the President's burger, which we highly recommend sitting on the terrace in the charming, lively village square of Ano Mera, after a day in tumultuous Chora or before another wild night in the south of the island.

It's aptly named. It is indeed in this former printing house (typografio in Greek) that the daily Foni Naxou-Parou ("The Voice of Naxos-Paros") was born in 1925, which has now disappeared. Spread over three modern terraces around a beautiful six-century old building, this restaurant is considered to be "the" reference to Naxos, a mixture of Hellenic and Mediterranean flavours. The menu is creative, based on regional products. Some waiters speak French. Very good wine list. Reservation recommended. Not to be missed!

Very good restaurant, superbly located on the small port of Piso Livadi, run by the Markakis family. Delicious Greek cuisine, impeccable service. The products on offer are traditional Greek dishes, including a large choice of very fresh and well prepared fish. Eggplant caviar, tarama, zucchini fritters or grilled squid... Don't forget to book, as it is full almost all the time. Dessert and glass of raki often offered at the end of the meal... The prices remain reasonable for an excellent cuisine.

Let's share here a very good discovery, especially at the time of a big hunger, at the end of the Akrotiri Lighthouse road (Faros). Perfect, this family tavern offers an authentic, classic and very successful Greek cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and the fish is the catch of the day, unlike many restaurants in Fira. Moreover, the setting is particularly pleasant with a large terrace and a breathtaking view of the entire Caldeira. To top it all off, the prices on offer are particularly affordable.

This is a Greek restaurant known for its particularly warm welcome. On the stove side, it will offer you a quality Greek cuisine. In the kitchen, they prepare delicious dishes, and all for a very affordable price. In short, a very good traditional address in Kamari that it would be a shame to miss. The decoration is also very pleasant, with a special mention for the walls decorated with old rural objects and the multitude of plants and flowers which bring a welcome touch of serenity to this place.

The dishes are inspired by typical Sifnos dishes, but the aim here is not to repeat the classics. With the help of his close-knit team, Alexandros is trying to reinvent and finally create the future of a traditional cuisine that lacks inventiveness. Try eggplant salad with pomegranate and feta seeds or salted cheesecake. The products are fresh and of good quality since it is Alexandros' father who grows them on his farm. He also organizes very interesting tours with tasting.

It never stops... Open all day long from breakfast, from 10 or 11 am, to the evening with a cocktail bar. The two terraces overlook the port: perfect for a drink in front of the sunset. It serves wine and 24 different cocktails, as many letters in the Greek alphabet. Its name comes from the first three numbers on the bar codes of products made in Greece. One of the best places on the island to eat as well: all the ingredients are fresh and most of them are organic.

As far as the setting is concerned, the restaurant has a huge terrace spread over two floors. Sea view guaranteed at each plate. The music is extremely well chosen, a mix of jazz and pop in remix chill immediately pushes us to relax and our gaze is quickly lost on the incredible panoramic sea view that the Compass offers on the bay of Chora. View disturbed only by the waltz of the ferries.... which will delight the youngest.

The magnificent shaded terrace of the Dolci overlooks the western flank of Kastro, offering the ephemeral epicurean sitting at his table a remarkable view and tranquility. Kastro is a unique place, but the jazzy atmosphere and the dominant position of the Dolci will make you discover it from a different angle, sunny, calm, soothing and of course gourmet. Salad 7 martyrs (in homage to the church of the 7 martyrs of Kastro), fresh mussels with orange sauce and flower petals, revisited pasta and risottos, or homemade ice cream.

On the beach of Plaka, this superb restaurant with its elaborate decoration offers an ideal setting to stay for more than just a meal. On the kitchen side, here again of the very high level. The use of fresh Naxiot and Cretan products has created a unique gastronomic place, creating a fusion cuisine of these regions. The result of this culinary originality is exquisite, the service impeccable and the setting simply magnificent facing the sea. It also has a concept store next to the restaurant for a few shopping sprees.

A magnificent restaurant with a careful decoration and a modern design. As for the cuisine, the bar is also high. A traditional Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, but often revisited with a modern touch. The dishes are successful and well prepared, the salads are copious. The eggplant Napoleon, to give just one example, is simply succulent. Petros and his brother Michalis, the owners, who are originally from the Parian Islands, buy only from local producers and fishermen and select the best products.

It is one of the best Greek taverns on the island. Rich and inventive menu thanks to the inspiration of Yorgos who works in the kitchen with talent. It offers some traditional Greek dishes but above all homemade specialities: taste its "Fava" with caramelized onions and fresh mint or beetroot with goat cheese and nuts. Map in French. The friendly Karine (French-speaking) gets up early to bring back the best products on the market. Leave some space for dessert because they are just as good. Very cheap. Takeaway meals.

The French-speaking staff serves dishes as they are offered in Cyprus, but also many traditional local or Greek dishes.
