The most beautiful natural sites to discover Abruzzo

The natural reserve allows to explore in peace and tranquility the fauna and flora of the gorges of sagittarius. Hiking trails have been designed to make the most of this natural setting. The reserve also contains a botanical garden where you can rposer and picnic on the edge of the creek. 

The waterfall is located on one of the small tributaries of the Sangro upstream of Lake Barrea. Nearby you will find the Sanctuary Belvedere della Liscia, through a dense beech forest. It's an easy walk and if you're lucky, you may be a chamois or eagle.

Managed by Cogecstre Co-operative, this 150 ha nature reserve offers courses around the lake and includes an environmental education center.

A natural reserve with beautiful waterfalls, at the foot of dolomitic dolomitic summits.

It is true that there are no beautiful stretches of wild sand that await you, but rather private plages beaches. Be warned. That being said, water is blue, fine sand, parasols and sun loungers work wonderfully. Although it is in the middle of the city, the beach is rather clean and good news for families, we walk very far. One of the first truly pleasant beaches is located near Porto Turistico to the east: It is the Lido Azzuro, very well-known, small and well-designed. A little further away, the Lido delle Sirene and its lively bar, the Playa. The crowd is on the outskirts of Pineta di Pescara on the large beaches of the eastern part of the city. We train cars along the road - be patient in summer, the waiting queue is long - and a small access corridor leads to the sand.

Excursions, a museum and a botanical garden, as well as a buff zone. The reserve is located in the communes of Lama dei Peligni and Civitella Messer Raimondo. Take the motorway A -14 Bologna-Canosa exit Val di Sangro, follow the road of Sangro towards Castel del Sangro to the exit Piane d'Archi-Casoli, follow SS -84 by passing through Casoli.
