GROTTO DI STIFFE

Located in the municipality of Stiffe, hamlet of San Demetrio, these caves are about 700 m long and are crossed by an underground river. The characteristic features are: reservoirs, rapids and even waterfalls. Stalagmites, stalactites and grandiose rooms are also to be found. Outside, the river continues to flow forming here and there a series of waterfalls. An advice: you enter a cave, so think of taking a little wool, because the temperature goes down to 10° C!
