The dining room is bright and refined, and the cutlery is in the most classic style. It is a family united around the same cause that welcomes you, the Txapartegi brothers and their aunt. The young chef, Gorka, already has a background as an artist that allows him to do the cooking he loves, traditional and inventive at the same time: egg with truffled potato and garlic soup, candied artichoke and his veil perfumed with bacon... The fish is not à la carte, as it depends on the catch of the day. In the adjoining room, there is a tavern at more accessible prices.

Here they serve some of the best pintxos in the region! With its inventive or traditional, but revisited recipes, the Sagartoki is unanimously acclaimed. The idea here is to combine delicate and inventive small portions with maestro cocktails composed by the renowned Raúl Fernández. On certain evenings, especially at weekends and in the summer, DJs come to brighten up the atmosphere. Don't leave the premises without tasting the tortilla de patata, pintxo de huevo frito or parmesan croquettes. To be enjoyed at the counter or in a more formal venue.

A 10 minute walk from the historic centre, a beautiful rustic casona that hides well by its diversity and the quality of its cuisine. Several rooms inside, one haughty in parade clothes, white tablecloths, antique chairs... the other more relaxed under a covered veranda where stone, wood and large bays compete for space. As for the kitchen, it is the work of Natxo Gracia, who knows how to play with simplicity with good recipes from the past mixed with an ounce of modernity and originality.

Between a canteen and a small tavern for regulars, this simple and unadorned space, whose first vocation was the traditional tapas bar, has seen the arrival of a restaurant in the back room. Here you can eat good raciones and pintxos, including the excellent Bellota ham, canutillo (a kind of flaky stick) filled with cheese and anchovies, artichokes with ham and poached egg, scrambled eggs with mushrooms... But what makes the reputation of La Viña is its excellent tarta de queso (cheesecake), simply the best in Spain!

This 18th century farmhouse offers a very pleasant setting with its cosy lounges and large garden where you can enjoy delicious grilled meats, a speciality of the house. The chuletas, turbots, monkfish cooked in their simplest apparatus are superb. They participate in the elaboration of a local cuisine where Iberian ham, asparagus and piquillos are the kings of the fiesta. Note that their Kobe meat comes from a farm in Hondarribia that specializes in this breed of Japanese origin. In season, try the guindillas and tomatoes from the vegetable garden!
