Covering an area of almost 10 hectares, Lac de Carouge offers a multitude of activities to suit all tastes, from diving into the water to paddle-boarding adventures. At first light, sports enthusiasts meet up for a morning jog, while idlers look forward to the afternoon. The shores of Lac de Carouge offer an ideal haven of peace, between sunny beaches and hiking trails.

Lake Champos is in the heart of an estate of more than 40 hectares where you can enjoy the various pleasures of a large leisure centre. Family swimming in optimal water quality, diving from the pontoons, windsurfing, pedal boat, large water slide (for a fee), fishing, etc. The Champos lake is also a starting point for horse riding, hiking or mountain biking to discover the paths of the Herbasse. The Beau Rivage beach is the private and family beach - and certainly the most pleasant - of the lake of Paladru. In this perfectly maintained space, you can settle on the grass or on the sand, rent a deckchair and enjoy real moments of vacation happiness with your feet in the water. A beach for safe bathing because the slope is gentle to splash around near the edge before swimming. The Aubusson lake has been awarded the Blue Flag since 2020 and offers many pleasures: relaxing on the lawns and on the beach, supervised swimming, environmental awareness activities, pétanque, soccer, volleyball, bicycle rental, playgrounds and orienteering courses. Canoe, pedal boat and paddle are available for rent. Nearby, marked trails are accessible all year round. Discover the fauna and flora in a playful way on the Saute-Ruisseau path, thanks to enamelled lava panels.

This open-air facility offers 3.5 hectares of lawns and green spaces surrounding the two outdoor pools heated to 27°C - an Olympic pool and a learning pool - and a lake swimming area - awarded the Blue Flag in 2021 - with diving board, floating pontoons and water games. A children's playground and a 160-meter slide for older children. Multiple services in addition: water ski school, swimming lessons and, of course, bar and restaurant. Just 20 minutes from the metropolis by car, the Lorette swimming pool welcomes you during the summer in a relaxing and family setting. Here, the water comes from the Dorlay (river of the Loire) and is treated thanks to plants in the filtering garden, nothing more natural! The layout of the place is also very well thought out: you can come and have a picnic on the grass or stroll on the wooden pontoons, with your feet in the crystal clear water. A handi-accessible place thought out for children (who must be accompanied by an adult), where everyone can be sure to spend a pleasant day! The snack bar welcomes you all day long and offers cold drinks, pancakes and fast food.

Located opposite the mythical Dent du Chat mountain, which culminates at an altitude of 1,390 m, it is a place where legends are told... It is a place where it is good to recharge your batteries. You can choose between grass or sand, in the shade of large trees or in the sun... The lake offers a very different view here and the footbridges and promenades are ideal for daydreaming and strolling to better enjoy the landscape to the sound of the lapping water. Be careful, however, it is difficult in the summer to find a parking space.

This is the public beach on the east side of the lake, much appreciated by residents of Annecy for its green setting and high-quality environment. Just a stone's throw from the town center and close to the Impérial, this beach is one of the most renowned in the area. With its 12,000^m2 of fine sand, clean water, diving boards and waterslides, sports fields and play areas, the spacious beach, planted with flowers, offers a family atmosphere that is much appreciated by bathers and strollers alike. Three small artificial lakes in a family-friendly leisure park. They are dedicated to fishing, swimming and windsurfing respectively. At the end of the last lake, a bird observatory is available for walkers. In summer, the three lakes are a popular local cool spot, with bar-restaurant and evening entertainment. This multi-sport site features a fitness trail on the imperial road leading to the lakes, a nearby climbing spot and themed trails to discover the local flora and fauna.

Right in the heart of the village, with gently sloping access for children, this first ecological lake open to bathing in France is untouched by concrete architecture. Water at between 19° and 26°C, heated by the sun, aquatic plants that filter the water, a water jet and a small cascading stream ensure impeccable water quality. This 100% ecological lake is one of the most beautiful in the Alps, preserving the beauty of the natural environment! Cold water swimming is also available in winter. Access to this renowned and formerly private beach is now free. Close to Le Pâquier and L'Impérial, this grassy, supervised beach is directly accessible from the bike path, and is a great place to meet up with family - supervised beach - and friends. There are plenty of facilities to make the most of a day by the lake, with your feet in the water: slides (depending on the lake's water level, which can be too low in high season), inflatable games, mini-golf, a paddling pool for the little ones, beach volleyball and badminton courts for sports enthusiasts, and a lawn for relaxing sunbathing. Created in 1982 at the initiative of the Community of Communes of the Vallons du Lyonnais, this 3 ha lake - whose name is the anagram of the name of the commune (we'll let you think about it!) - offers freshness to the many Lyonnais who climb to the heights of Yzeron. You can spend a good time with your family by taking a boat ride, to picnic, with a playground for children and hiking trails for everyone! You can also fish with your family (^2nd cat. Created in 1981, this is a sensational lake. A man-made river with a natural feel, it stretches 700 meters along the Rhône, with a constant flow of 14 m3/s. The white-water area is the perfect place to learn about white-water sports, including white-water swimming, rafting, canoeing and kayaking. Numerous other services are also available, including water excursions, water trekking, multi-activity day packages and even Pilat scooter descents.

A watering hole in a natural setting. It's a year-round meeting place for locals looking for a breath of fresh air. In summer, the leisure center attracts families for swimming. There's also a fitness trail, picnic tables, a playground, a geology and archaeology trail and a restaurant. Canoes, paddles, rowing boats, kayaks and electric scooters for hire. With a brand new aquatic center, the Carré Tonique, the Plaine Tonique is even more beautiful to welcome us as a family this summer! Located on the edge of a lake where you can practice many water activities or relax on the beach, the aquatic center offers five pools. There are pools for the little ones, while the older ones will navigate between the heated indoor pool, the outdoor pools with 2 giant slides and water games... Of all the public and municipal beaches lining Lake Annecy, let's start with one of the closest and most accessible from the town center (by bike path and public transport): the Plage des Marquisats. Every effort is made to ensure the comfort and safety of users, with lifeguards on hand to supervise swimming. Located near the heart of Aurec-sur-Loire, on the banks of the Loire River, on a sunny and shady park, the site has a remarkable natural environment spanning many hectares. Classified NATURA 2000, this space for all, with many facilities, offers in addition to a sandy beach, multiple activities! The Respirando Area is accessible for persons with reduced mobility. For bathing, hippocampus chairs are at your disposal.

You have to go a little way from Lamastre to reach this leisure center below the village. There are tables for comfortable meals. Swimming is very pleasant in cool, clear water, even if access to the water via the rocks is sometimes tricky. On-site sanitary facilities and a snack bar mean you can spend a whole day listening to the murmur of the Doux. A popular spot in summer. Nearby, a campsite is ideal for short and long stays, and there are numerous walks such as the one to the ruins of Retourtour.
