To help you take the greatest pleasure, the ASV'Olt team offers you marked routes to go down the river and discover the most beautiful landscapes. You will have the choice between rafting, kayaking (club affiliated to the FFCK) or paddling according to your desires and your experience. The instructors ensure the evaluation and the training of the participants, in particular the children.

To discover the gorges, you can rent canoes, kayaks and rafts from the beautiful medieval tower in the village of this Most Beautiful Village in France. There's a choice of 6 routes to suit all tastes and levels, all guided by professionals. Tailor-made courses can also be booked (by the half-day or week), from 10 km for families (from 6 years) to 105 km for the more athletic! An ideal starting point for adventure and white-water sports on the Allier river. With family or friends, the Haut-Allier gorges will reveal all their treasures. From the basalt organs of Prades to the remains of one of the first Cluniac abbeys, the Prieuré and its surrounding tower, you'll have a complete change of scenery. There are a variety of routes to choose from (full-day or half-day rafting, 1.5-hour to full-day canoeing), and you can even go for several days. Our instructors are always on hand to advise you on the best way to navigate the river.

Summer and winter alike, the village of Astet offers many recreational options. In summer, kayakers enjoy the wild river punctuated by rapids. In winter, Nordic skiers take over, plying the 14 cross-country ski trails ranging from 1 to 20 km. Snowshoeing is also in the spotlight, with 9 circuits. The Ardèche is not the only river where you can go white water rafting. The Drôme also offers some great sensations. Of course the flow is not the same and at the height of the summer, you will sometimes have to push your canoe on some dry areas. Anyway, this is a very nice way to discover, along the water, the Drôme landscapes. Going down the Drôme on portions ranging from 2 to 49 km, in a few hours or in two days, you will be able to admire the singular mountain of the Three Beaks under all its aspects and its colors according to your picnic or swimming stops and according to the time. Canoë Drôme has been established in Saillans for more than thirty years and offers you 400 boats spread over two bases, one in Saillans (Lido, the pioneer of canoeing bases in the Drôme, installed more than twenty years ago) and the other in Crest/Aouste-Sye. You have a choice of boats: canoe-kayak, raft, mini-raft or hotdogs (inflatable canoes for two people). Please note: we provide you with life jackets and waterproof boxes to store your belongings, and we pick you up by shuttle upon arrival. Those who are allergic to water can rent electrically powered bicycles to ride the "river path" along the Drôme. Auvergne Loisirs offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Its base is located on the banks of the Allier, and welcomes adventurers fond of canoeing or kayaking. White water version, there is not only the Ardèche in Ardèche. There is also the Chassezac and the CCC, the company that allows you to paddle on this charming river. Between 2h and 3h of navigation depending on the route. You have the choice of boats, canoe, kayak, rafting. A shuttle bus ensures your return. It is imperative to know how to swim. On your way, many swimming points with magnificent beaches and wild nature landscapes of any beauty.

The Annemasse Mont-Blanc canoe-kayak club offers all year long the possibility to practice white water sports on the rivers of the Haute-Savoie, but also in the swimming pool (on Thursday evenings in Annemasse, upon reservation). This discipline is aimed at a large public (minimum age 13 years) with the only condition: to be able to swim a distance of at least 25 m and to be able to swim under water. The club is affiliated to the French Federation of canoeing and kayaking and therefore provides serious supervision.

Pro Lynx Sports offers kayaks and canoes (two or three-seater) for hire from its base in Chanaz. Just a few kilometers from Lac du Bourget, you can kayak to the lake via the Canal de Savières. Two totally different settings are offered by this lovely trip. Of course, the lake is far too big to be covered in one go, but you can be content with exploring one side of it, or reaching the towns of Conjux, Hautecombe or Chatillon.

Sioule Loisirs rents canoes and kayaks to discover the Combrailles along the Sioule. The center offers several routes ranging from 11 to 25 km, divided between the gorges hautes for families and the gorges de Chouvigny for the more athletic. Picnic breaks are available at the foot of Château-Rocher or on the Menat bridge. Changing rooms, showers and a restaurant with panoramic terrace complete the infrastructure. Life jackets, watertight picnic containers, boats and paddles are supplied. A via ferrata is also available.

Vichy Aventure offers a range of fun and sporting activities. For a thrilling experience on the water, explore the rapids aboard a raft, following the guide's advice. Equipped with a float, flippers and a neoprene wetsuit, discover whitewater in a new way, or vary the pleasures by combining rafting, hydrospeed and tubing in a 2-hour session. For those who prefer to stay dry, take part in a game of paintball, bubble-football or archery-tag (8-10 people).

Are you tempted by a little descent of the Ardèche? This discreet canoe rental company has two bases, on either side of the village of Ruoms. Base 1 is located at the edge of Ruoms on the D579 in the direction of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, at the level of the traffic lights on the left, ideal for the Sampzon-Pont-d'Arc descent (14 km/3h without counting the stops). Base 2 is located at La Chapoulière on the D111 towards Alès, for the Balazuc descent (18 km/4h). A beautiful way to go through the Ardèche in the heart of the bewitching landscapes of the Ardèche gorges.

This activity is an excellent option for water sports enthusiasts who want to enjoy the beauty of the region's rivers.

Located on the banks of the River Sioule, Camping des Nières has a canoe base offering two different trips: a half-day trip over 10 km from Chouvigny to Ebreuil, or a full-day trip over 20 km from Pont de Menat to Ebreuil. Children are not forgotten, whether they're staying at the campsite or not: fun times are guaranteed at the Sioule Parc, with its giant inflatables, trampolines and accrobranches. Activities are also open to all. Take a break for a snack at La Guinguette des Nières, offering regional specialities to eat in or take away.
