Before the Grand Loop, the Front Tower is a festive, convivial, 87-km tour that gives rise neither to timing nor to classification. It is open to all cyclists from 18 years of age, made redundant or not. For this third edition, the cyclismes clubs of Albertville and Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne propose to climb the Col de la Madeleine and its 1600 m distance by passing into sumptuous landscapes.

For the past ten years, this race in the middle of nature has been a great success for running enthusiasts. Three courses are offered: 12 km (+ 450 m of ascent), 23 km (+ 1 140 m of ascent) and 37 km (+ 1 880 m of ascent), as well as a 13 km hike/nordic walk without classification. Starting from Sauxillanges, they pass through the communes of Saint-Quentin-sur-Sauxillanges, Saint-Étienne-sur-Usson and Saint-Jean-en-Val. This is a unique opportunity to run while enjoying magnificent views of the Sancy massif and the Puy-de-Dôme.

And if this year Easter Monday took a sporting turn? On 2 April, the commune of Ruy-Montceau will welcome Strides ruy-montoises 2018; a chance! In the programme: two nature races from 10 to 25 km for adults, several short runs from 600 m to 2 000 m for children, and three hiking paths of 6 km, 10 km and 15 km for those who are walking! In 2018, it will be the 13 ^th edition of the 10 km of Cluses. As each year for the occasion, participants and volunteers will animate the streets of the commune in a friendly atmosphere. Ten kilometers to go alone or in relay! In the region or residents, here is a great opportunity to make new sports meetings, and why not find a jogging route to repeat autonomously. Canal Round returns on August 5 th! This year, men, women and children are invited to participate in the event, and everyone will be given its own course: 6,3 km for ladies, 9,4 km for gentlemen, and 800 m to 1 600 m for herbe. The itinerary? A flat and well-rolling circuit on the banks of the Canal canal in Digoin. Among friends or family, put you also the trainers, and belong to some 450 athletes expected that day!

On Sunday, 30 August, the municipality of Saint-André-de-Corcy will host the sports event on the Pas de Tanguy, a 10 km drive and without difficulty with passage and étang. The perfect test, in sum, to put himself or herself into a gentle leg at this end of vacation! Amateurs or passionate, put together the trainers and are part, you too, of some 280 athletes expected that day! Built in 1830 to facilitate the transport of goods, the canal from Roanne to Digoin is now dedicated to tourism. In summer, its waters are filled with barges and pleasure boats, while its shores are filled with cyclists and walkers. From Roanne, you can go north as long as you like by following the canal towpath. Here are some examples of easy routes: count 40 minutes to reach Mably and 1h30 to reach Pouilly-sur-Charlieu. Enough to enjoy a pleasant family walk.

On April 1, the commune of Contrevoz will bring together amateur and passionate runners around a 11 km, popular and friendly nature race. If you live in the area, this is a great opportunity to rediscover your environment! The route, which is largely on non-asphalted roads, gives you a 230-meter positive gradient. not the sea to drink, but the athletes a trained strand will feel more comfortable than the real beginners. They may rather opt for hiking, unless their age allows them to participate in youth races…

On March 31st, a small bout of Ain will be at the pace of the 10 km of Buellas, a popular and friendly walking race. The circuit? Two loops of 7 and 3 kilometres, mostly on the road, and to a lesser extent on unpaved roads. Other tests are also in the programme so that everyone can participate: a "young" race and a 5 km race. Two adult races, four children races, a family test, and a hiking route; Gruffy's cracks are more eclectic than ever! Amateur or confirmed runners, come and meet on the 6 km, unless you prefer to last the pleasure, opting for 10.5 km. Meanwhile, the budding athletes, born between 1999 and 2008, will be robbed of the 700, 2,000 and 2,800 meters dedicated to them.

After the Strides de la Frat the Bourgoin-Jaillieu, the Sportifs-Jaillieu brings sports events on 1 April 2018. In the programme, of course, the long-awaited test of the 10 km, but also three races dedicated to the youngest, 5 km, 2 km and 800 m. The courses, dishes, evolve in the streets of the city and present no major difficulties. A good opportunity to wear the trainers, and perhaps to find a jogging route that you can then repeat!

Organized by the Lions Club of Issoire, this Ferrarissimo allows visitors to participate in initiations in prestigious cars on the car circuit of Issoire. The most famous brands are present: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, MacLaren or Porsche, Aston Martin and Corvette. In total, more than fifty vehicles! Visitors who do not wish to drive will still be able to enjoy the excitement of the event by accessing the trackside and the museum. The funds raised will be donated to charitable organizations.

The Sainté Color is a foot race to be done in a joyful and good mood, preferably colored! On a 5 km course between the Étivallière Stadium and the François Mitterrand Park, the participants run on a course punctuated by non-toxic colored powder. Organized by Issoire Rugby, this sporting event marks ASM's first friendly match. It has been held for 19 years at the Jacques Lavédrine complex in Issoire. It's one of the department's major sporting events: the closing match of the challenge, which brings together 2 professional teams (Top14 or European team), attracts almost 5,000 spectators every year.

For more than sixty years, the Volvic cross-country race has brought together runners from all walks of life, of all ages and from many countries. The different editions attract more than 1 500 registered runners. Organized by the Stade Clermontois Athlétisme, the cross-country race starts and finishes on the site of the Volvic spring. It brings together three very different courses, from the short to the long loop. This last one has a strong difference in level! Around the race, the event offers a relay race for families, initiations to Nordic walking, animations for children, and the cross-country fitness and health village. Put on your sneakers and embark on the adventure this year!

The idea of mountain biking in the city was born in 1995 with Bike in Lyon. 29 years later, the Lyon Free Bike is a not-to-be-missed event, with over 8,000 mountain bikers criss-crossing the streets of Lyon on a course that changes with each edition, with loops for all levels.
