Their first creation was the Monts de Venasque in 1978, followed by the Chérise in 1997. Mont Venasque cherries have the particularity of being large in size. Every year, a festival is held in Venasque on the 1st Sunday in June, with tastings, a market featuring local produce and a parade.

Read moreMarjorie and Adrien have been running this farm since 2012. Initially producers of red fruit, they planted an orchard from which they harvest the fruit when ripe. They freeze the fruit just after picking, to be transformed throughout the year into jams cooked in a cauldron. They also grow aromatic plants - saffron, thyme, rosemary, verbena and sage - which are dried and infused to make preservative- and colorant-free syrups. Also delicious fruity sorbets. Tip: Pick your own berries in season!

Two main activities are developed there: on the one hand, the cultivation of microfoams and aromatic herbs, and on the other hand, an ecological vocation to raise awareness of environmental preservation, especially for schoolchildren. The microfoots, grown organically and without pesticides, are used to decorate the dishes of the region's restaurant owners, in a short circuit of course. Dill, basil, mustard, mizuna, arugula and pak choi: here we give time to cultivate. Numerous workshops for "greening" and exchanges between generations.
