This 8-hectare vineyard, located in the Salins plain, has the great fortune to live a second life thanks to Laurence Berlemont, an agricultural engineer, and Patrick Devaux, who both, with persistence and imagination, have been able to revive the vineyard, which has been organically farmed since the 2013 harvest and biodynamically farmed since 2021. In the ^15th century, this superb property was the Clos du Roi René. With a vineyard of 50 hectares, Château Simone has been owned by the Rougier family since 1830. The cellars, dug in the ^16th century by the religious order of the Grands Carmes d'Aix, contain several galleries on different levels; they are remarkable for their homogeneous temperature and natural hygrometry.
