CHÂTEAU DE CLAPIER
Overlooked by the Mourre-Nègre mountain and set just outside the village of Mirabeau, Château de Clapier has been a family estate since 1880, covering 35 hectares. Independent winemaker Thomas Montagne creates 12 highly individual AOP Luberon wines, such as Cuvée Soprano, a unique blend of Syrah, Grenache noir and... Pinot noir (Gold Medal at the Concours des Grands Vins de Mâcon). Other fine bottles to discover include the Cuvée Tessiture, a micro-cuvée with an intense nose of macerated black fruit that sums up the winemaker's work. Follow in the footsteps of the winemaker by taking part in the Géo Caching outdoor treasure hunt after downloading the app. The 1h30 walk is followed by a wine tasting. Picnics and concerts are organized at the estate during the summer.
