Gérard welcomes you in his lab, he works raw materials in the purest tradition: full fruit, full cream, no dyes. His creations are small jewels of subtle aromas, be it his macaroons - a dozen fragrances including the violet, the poppy, the caramel salt, the melon, or the rose and a typical lavender honey - its chocolate truffles, its almond fondants and its ice and glaces. From the fine days, it is a pleasure to enjoy the icy cuts you can enjoy, sitting on the terrace or in the garden in front of its workshop, some summer afternoons on reservation (dates to check out on the site). Cracks,…,…,…, noisette, noisette, noisette… Gérard proposes to give you some tips for the success of the famous macaroons. It organizes workshops over half a day; the equipment is provided as well as the chapeau and deck. The establishment changed hands in 2018. Mathieu and Michael are now in charge. Both have decided to make Le Misto, a friendly place that combines flavours and happiness, as they themselves say. The staff is smiling and welcoming, the ice cream cups and cakes are excellent with, as a bonus, a very beautiful view of the Etang de Berre. The menu is really overwhelming and the prices are quite correct.

With two locations in Marseille, including the historic Panier, Glacier du Roi has built up a fine reputation over the years. With its production laboratory visible from the store, the emphasis is on the artisanal side of production, with inspiring flavours: turnip, apricot verbena, mango... Sorbets and ice creams are available in scoops and cups, as well as in large quantities with containers so you can take them home with you. The only snag, and not the least, is that the prices are not cheap, being higher than those of other artisanal producers in Marseille. And yet there's an explosion of flavors in these ice creams, which lack a little taste. As for the addition of Chantilly cream, billed at two euros, not to mention the plastic cups which, while attractive, are thrown away once the scoop is finished, it's all a bit clumsy and not too up to date ecologically speaking on the last point. A great success thanks to its location and the many tourists in the area.

This Italian glacier with warm wooden decor offers its terrace in the heart of the pedestrian district of Nice. Full fresh milk, organic eggs, seasonal products come into the composition of ice, ice cream and sorbets of tradition made here without artificial coloring or aroma. From the most classical to the most original, the scents with transalpine accent are numerous and varied: Yogurt, caramel and salted butter, amaretto, Specculoos biscotti, stracciatella, tiring the inimitable… Served on the spatula, in pot or in cornet, these gourmets are commanded by the counter and are tasted by a swim or on the terrace covered in the outside. All perfumes are also available per liter or half-liter to take in an insulated box. À la carte, hot and fresh drinks, ten varieties of hot Italian chocolates are also offered as well as some original delicacies such as «la Focaccina», a small brioche with the desired ice scent, pancakes, waffles and other chocolates. For this winter, the House plans to concocve candles, iced cakes from 6 to 8 parts and frozen macarons in eight different flavors.
