CENTRE DE DECOUVERTE DU MOYEN AGE

Set in a 400 th century mansion, next to the Marchadial square, the centre offers an exhibition area of more than m ². It is a cheerful, playful and surprising tool for valuing local historic heritage. The general idea is to discover the Middle Ages by following the footsteps of the famous Troubadour De De, a child of the country, who lived more than 800 years ago in the Vicomté de. To do this, the visitor is immersed in a medieval visual and visual atmosphere where he is offered pedagogical approaches to art, crafts, poetry and music of the troubadours. In the third millennium, it is an invitation to the dream and culture of the Middle Ages. To be completely in the atmosphere, you can also afford a medieval day with a visit to the centre, the city, a workshop and a period meal. On each site you will find a welcome from the public (at scheduled openings) and proposals for guided tours and outings discovered. These poles are divided into three themes: watch birds, go to adventure and discover know-how. Present throughout the territory, they represent an original way of addressing the specific characteristics of the territory, its heritage and heritage, its fauna and flora.
