The Lycée Hôtelier was one of the first schools to be built in La Rochelle's student district. Today, Les Minimes is inextricably linked with the building, which opened in 1986 and is located in the immediate vicinity of the port and the university campus. Over the years, the lycée has built up a solid reputation. The hundreds of students who attend are trained in the three hotel trades: cooking, service and accommodation. A variety of diplomas enable students to progress within the region's numerous companies. The CAP guarantees tenure in the trade linked to the chosen speciality, the BAC pro prepares students for working life, the BTS is a two-year professional training course, while the Mention Complémentaire is reserved for the most motivated students eager to perfect their knowledge. ESAD Pyrénées Pau Tarbes offers professional training recognized in the European higher education network. It is a public institution whose courses lead from DNSEP to Master's degree. The Pau site trains students to become designers and creators. It specializes in multimedia graphic design and image-based functions in publishing, advertising, video games and ceramic art. It is the most recent in New Aquitaine, but one of the most dynamic: by focusing on a multidisciplinary character and multiple sites, the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour does not shy away from its reputation! Each year, UPPA prepares 13,800 students for a hundred or so degrees. The site in Pau is a major player in local economic development and there are countless foreign students from Europe and around the world who come to benefit from its excellent teaching in law, economics, management, literature, languages, human sciences, sports, science and technology.

This establishment is part of the ESPE d'Aquitaine network. Housed in the historic building of the Ecole Normale d'Institutrices de Pau, this historic site continues to serve as a training center for all future primary school teachers. Courses are given throughout the school year to prepare them not only for the competitive examination, but also for the didactic and pedagogical issues they will face throughout their careers. The Poitiers Campus of Sciences Po Paris is located in the heart of downtown Poitiers, in an 18th-century heritage building. It is home to around 200 students and offers the Europe-Latin America program, which enables students to study the countries of the Iberian Peninsula and South America. Poitiers is a major university town in France, with a student population representing a quarter of the total population. Each year, the Science and Technology Cluster hosts more than 2000 students who make a licence among six entries: Biology and Biochemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Earth and Environment, Computing, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. This offer is amplified by five professional licences (e. g.: Aquaculture and sustainable management of its environment) and four master mentions including teaching and science for engineer).

Composed of two departments (law and political science, management) this faculty has a special exhibition, a few dozen metres from the ocean. Students can enjoy a pleasant lunch break after the law courses, the Centre for judicial studies and the Centre for the preparation of the Administrative Competitions. Founded in 1993, the Université de La Rochelle has grown steadily, offering more and more courses and welcoming more and more students eager to work in a pleasant environment. Today, the three faculties, the IUT and the IAE welcome some 8,595 students who follow courses taught by nearly 500 lecturers. The University of La Rochelle trains students in 4 fields (art, law, human and social sciences and science) for 74 national diplomas and three preparatory courses for competitive examinations (administrative, judicial, grandes écoles). While the La Rochelle faculty is not yet on a par with the region's two major conurbations, since 2009 it has been one of the first twenty universities to become autonomous. Located close to the ocean, not far from the fishing and commercial ports, this high school trains the crafts of the sea. Before embarking on ships or working on land in aquaculture farms, a passage through this facility allows you to learn the trades in aquaculture, marine fishing, marine machinery and the sale of seafood products. The students work here on various workshops, simulators and can also be exercised on an educational farm farm located on the island of Ré. This year, the establishment opens a new diploma, the Maritime Maritime Fisheries and Management of the Marine Environment (MTSB PGEM).

Established in 1988, the Group Sup de Co proposes several courses of higher education. In the programme: law, management-finance, marketing, management, human resources, strategy, computers, languages, as well as coaching and a sports-study section. The school aims to offer students different teaching methods, listening to the concerns of companies and training teachers through academic and teaching research. The pedagogy taught here aims to prepare students for rapid professional integration into the labour market.
