It's worth noting that the course always looks so green, thanks to the watering provided by the town's wastewater treatment plant. Anchored since 1986, in the heart of the Landes pine forest and on the edge of the ocean, this magnificent 27-hole golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, covers 84 hectares. Ranked 85th best course in the world by Golf Digest (outside the USA), the complex also includes: an international 18-hole "forest and ocean" course, a 9-hole "airial" course, a 30-station driving range (10 of which are covered), three putting greens and two practice bunkers on the Club-House driving range. Professionals or amateur players rub shoulders every day on this Aquitaine course.

You can choose between a 9-hole "Les Grands Lacs" course (Par 32, 2,172 m) and an 18-hole "Forêt & Océan" course (Par 71, 5,674 m). The driving range features twenty-five stations, seven of which are covered. So it's a real pleasure for golf lovers to be here in the heart of the Landes forest, close to Biscarrosse lake. In terms of accommodation, the Domaine du Golf de Biscarrosse offers seasonal rental villas with swimming pools for 6 to 12 people. You can also enjoy a meal at the Parcours Gourmand.

Designed by Arnaud Massy, John Morrison and Charles Bouhana in 1927, the Golf of Hossegor was created in the middle of a pine and cork oak forest, on a sandy ground sheltered from the winds. With a typically British layout refined by Cabell Robinson in 2003, Hossegor is listed as one of the one thousand best golf courses in the world by the Rolex Book. Shorts, tank tops and jeans with holes in them are prohibited. Gentlemen are also asked to remove their caps or hats inside the clubhouse. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner in summer.

Golf d'Idron offers a 6-hole course on a 100% natural green and a 30-station driving range (8 of which are covered), as well as a driving range, wedging area and putting green. It's the ideal place to learn and practice, with the mountains as a backdrop. Private and group lessons are available for beginners, as well as for those wishing to perfect their game and obtain their license. The Idron golf course organizes friendly and federal competitions for youngsters and adults all year round. Its strengths: attractive prices, a human-sized structure, supervision by certified instructors and a very pleasant family atmosphere. Everything you need to become a golf enthusiast!

Just outside Bayonne and 10 minutes from Biarritz, this 18-hole, par 72, 5,646 m course, designed by American architect Rocky Roquemore, is set in superb surroundings on the edge of an oak forest. The difficulty of the fairways lies in the variety of greens and tee positions. "A physical and technical golf course, with excellent greens. The driving range offers 2 open positions and 20 grass positions. There's a restaurant on site, with a golfer's menu and drinks available at any time of day.

There's no better place to play golf. Overlooking the ocean, it dominates the bay and has recently enhanced its surroundings with an ultramodern complex and panoramic restaurant. "Vacancéole - Le Domaine du Golf d'Albret" is a large 3* tourist residence with 193 apartments, from studios to 3 rooms, some of which are accessible to people with reduced mobility, all equipped with a terrace or a balcony. Residents can play golf on the 18-hole course and also benefit from 2 outdoor swimming pools, hammam, tennis courts and the nearby forest for hiking... The golf restaurant offers traditional southwestern cuisine.

Located a few kilometers north of the center of Bordeaux, Blue Green Bordeaux-Lac offers two 18-hole courses: La Jalle (6,156 m), which is totally flat and set in natural surroundings, and Les Étangs (6,162 m), which is more undulating and features numerous water obstacles, making it less accessible to neophyte golfers. Another 9-hole Pitch & Putt course allows beginners to take their first steps on the greens in complete tranquillity.

A legendary course, this 34-hectare par 69 is 5,402 m long. Over the years (it dates back to 1888), it has hosted more than ten European Opens, not forgetting the famous Biarritz Cup in July, France's biggest and oldest amateur event.
