In 2006, Stade Bordelais (Pro D2) and Club Athlétique Béglais (Fédérale 1), which won two French Championship titles in 1969 and 1991, merged to form Union Stade Bordeaux CA Bordelais Bègles. Under the impetus of its new president, Laurent Marti, the club became Union Bordeaux Bègles (UBB) in May 2008, in order to offer a great club to our rugby land. After years in Pro D2 (2006-2011), spurred on by an all-consuming enthusiasm, almost flawless talent and a passionate public, UBB made its return to the Top 14. By the end of the 2014-2015 season, UBB had overtaken the legendary English club Saracens to become, no less, the biggest crowd in Europe, with an average of 27,000 fans per match. For the first time in its history, UBB qualifies for the European Rugby Champions Cup for the 2015-2016 season. Renowned for its resolutely attacking game, Union Bordeaux Bègles continues to progress, attracting some of the biggest names in world rugby, including Australians Adam Ashley-Cooper and Sekope Kepu, former Auckland Blues captain Luke Braid, and French internationals Sofiane Guitoune, Lionel Beauxis, Jean-Marcellin Buttin and Loann Goujon. According to the rankings initiated by the Ligue Nationale de Rugby in January 2019, Union Bordeaux Bègles has the second-best French training center among Top 14 clubs. Created in 1999, the UBB Training Center is located within the Stade André Moga (in Bègles, of course).

With its island-like appearance in the heart of nature, this leisure center is just incredible. In summer, the shores are like a seaside and swimming is supervised. The water is home to the 1,000 m² aquazone. If you like to relax under the sun, you'll find what you're looking for, but if you're eager for activities and discoveries, the 100 hectares of the site have many surprises in store for you! Introduction to water-skiing, towed buoys, water slides: it's all downhill, it's all slippery, it's all action and everyone has fun! A nice playground completes the site.

The "Marguerite" makes you walk around the town of Nérac by offering you 5 different loops, one of which is 4 km long. It is a golden opportunity to discover the region with your family, accompanied by the youngest and the not so young, because the walk is of a level accessible to all.

As far as the eye can see, the panorama is fabulous, stretching from the plains of Béarn to the inland Basque country. The Centre Nautique Biscarosse Olympique welcomes you to Latécoère on the south lake and to Navarrosse on the north lake in summer. Summer courses, lasting from 3 to 5 days and subject to registration, are available for all levels, for beginners or advanced sailors aged 5 and over.

Arteka makes the mountains its playground. Supervised by professionals, in total safety, here is a reference in the field where you can practice all kinds of activities around white water. Rafting, canyoning, via ferrata, climbing, paintball, scooter... There's no shortage of thrills around Bidarray. On the program: sharing, immersing yourself in nature, descending the Otxondo pass on a scooter and climbing the Baztan rock for beginners. Accommodation is also available in the 2 gîtes, each with its own snack bar.

Ready to discover the magnificent greenways and forest paths between Labenne and Capbreton on an all-terrain electric skateboard? A signatory of the Sustainable Tourism charter, Izi Rider is the only board park in the south of the Landes region to offer e-skate rides from the age of 6. In the Ossau valley, canyoning spots are numerous and popular in summer, offering magnificent sites. Then, with the arrival of the first cold spells, these spots sometimes become adorned with ice! Experienced canyoning enthusiasts can take on the icy walls with special equipment. For a first experience, the mid-range mountains, with their low temperatures and little snow, are ideal terrain for an introduction to canyoning. The seasons transform the experience, offering enthusiasts a year-round opportunity.

At an altitude of 1,400 metres on the slopes of the Col d'Aubisque, the Gourette resort offers a 14-hectare ski area specially designed for beginners, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Families and children alike appreciate the gentle slopes and playful facilities, such as the SnakeGliss, a descent on interlocking sledges forming a giant snake. Gourette, surrounded by peaks rising to 2,500 metres, offers a majestic setting for snow sports enthusiasts.

This inflatable water park on the 99-hectare Lac de Treignac, which has been awarded the Pavillon Bleu label, covers over 800 m². A summer afternoon paradise for all ages 6 and up. This is a very nice 8 kilometer hike in the undergrowth, with beautiful views of the Clain and Envigne valleys along the trails. All in all, a very pleasant walk for which you will be happy to have put on your sneakers! All you have to do is register early at Place Manderen for this refreshing walk. This hike is also available for mountain bikes and Gravel, with extra markers of course!

Holiday paths are several circuits, including a 9 km walk accessible to everyone, discovering the beautiful wooded countryside of Sostranien country with a multitude of trails. Don't miss this 16 ^th edition of "Festival Paths", it has a lot of dépayser in the heart of the Creuse!

In the heart of the 30-hectare Complexe d'Entraînement Sportif International de Hagetmau, you'll find an indoor Olympic-size swimming pool, a play area (whirlpool and hydromassage benches), and a large slide. Swimmers can reserve their line on the website. Other activities on offer: fitness, aquagym classes, swimming lessons, workshops for aquaphobics... At La Cité verte, you can enjoy a wide range of sports, including rugby, soccer, handball, basketball, gymnastics, athletics, golf, tennis...

The Sentier de l'Adour is a 130 km hiking trail along the river. The route crosses 28 communes, alternating between left and right banks. There are several sections to choose from: Dax and Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Candresse and Hinx, Préchacq-les-Bains and Gousse... The Adour trail leads from Toulouzette to Saint-Sever, then from Augreilh to Péré to Montgaillard. In short, there's a lot of walking to be done!

Bordeaux has its own professional ice hockey club, and not the least: the Boxers. Runners-up (^4th) in 2023/2024, the Bordeaux Boxers play in the Synerglace Ligue Magnus, the highest level of ice hockey in France. Looking for a little ice and lacrosse? Turn to the Bordeaux-Gironde-Hockey-sur-Glace (BGHG) association for amateur field hockey. Children as young as 4 can take up ice hockey! Field hockey courses and summer camps are organized. Basque pelota is played in a special place, the jaï alaï. In Hossegor, it's a historic site nicknamed the Cathedral of Pelota. Basque pelota is a sport: the ball can reach speeds of 200 to 250 kph. That's why you need to wear a helmet if you're playing with a leather pelota. Discovery, initiation and improvement courses are organized for children and adults to discover the games of Chistera, Cesta punta and Pala. Competitions in Hossegor see the best national and international players go head-to-head.

Franck is a former surfing champion and professional coach for top-level athletes. So it's only natural that his own home, just a few hundred meters from the beach, has become a veritable surf camp. With his team, he takes care of teenagers (+ 11 years old) and adults for an initiation or improvement in surfing, stand-up paddle or bodyboarding. The courses are intensive (3 lessons a day) and are extended by recovery sessions in the 38°C hot tub and video analysis.

The Fablab phenomenon originated in the United States . It's a place open to the public that makes computer-controlled machine tools available. The aim of these laboratories is to enable everyone to carry out a project of their choice, and to provide the means to do so through workshops and support. At MIPS, the team of volunteers, highly involved and available, places the emphasis on meeting people and sharing knowledge. It's a convivial space where you can meet people with a passion for all things electronic and programming, as well as "Do It Yourself" enthusiasts.

A center that is both a music school and a musical services facility for artistic creation. You'll find courses in instruments (classical and modern guitar, singing, drums, piano, band and ensemble direction), arrangements, transcriptions and compositions for all levels and ages. It's an information center that organizes workshops, prepares students for entry to conservatoires and grandes écoles, and helps organize concerts and artistic projects. A professional teaching team does its utmost to support you.

Opened in 1986, this golf course was acquired in 2022. It has been completely refurbished. The 18-hole, 5810-meter course still offers a splendid panorama on the edge of the Landes region, amid wooded hills, Buzet vineyards and bastides. However, the circuit has been redesigned to bring something new to players. Open to all, not just golfers, the bar-restaurant "Le 19" offers a highly successful seasonal bistro menu, infused with local flavours. New for 2024: a padel court.

Jean-Charles De Cours is at the head of the Cazettes domain, an equestrian center where 120 members trust him to practice their passion. A complete stable welcomes horses, ponies and shetlands and offers lessons for all levels and all ages. In summer, by appointment, rides on the hillsides are organized. Xcat' is Franck Vidal's catamaran - with a merchant navy and surfing diploma - on which you can embark for a trip along the Côte d'Argent or to observe dolphins with the X-Dophin formula. From the age of 8, the X-Fish is ideal for sea fishing. For adults only, the X-Tuna version is available from September to mid-October. With the X-Clusive, you can charter the catamaran for up to 12 people! And let's not forget the X-Tapas, where you can watch the sunset with a few local delicacies...

For paddling enthusiasts, experienced sportsmen and quiet explorers, this is the ideal club. Rentals are available by the hour, by the day or for two- to four-day trips/bivouacs. The usual boating area stretches from the base to the Saint-Yrieix lake, a 4 km stretch of waterways where you can discover the flora and fauna of the Charente and Trouve rivers. Last but not least, you can try your hand at stand-up paddling and discover the banks of the river like a tightrope walker. Initiations are supervised by federal instructors.

The Charente Sailing School gives children and adults alike a taste of the joys of sailing on the Saint-Yrieix lake. You can rent catamarans, windsurfers, canoes and mountain bikes by the hour or half-day. Introductory and advanced courses are available on reservation. Finally, around the base, you can take advantage of the many activities available: jogging and mountain bike tracks, playgrounds, handball, five-a-side soccer... Of course, you can also swim in the lake!

Located in Socoa, this small nautical base has its feet practically in the water and is bursting with activities. Jet-skiing along the Basque coast to discover the magnificent landscapes, made up of creeks and rocks, from Hendaye to the Landes. D.E. instructors will guide you on these tours, which are suitable for everyone. If you have a coastal license, you can rent a jet-ski for a solo or duo outing. Another activity is Flyboard, with which you can fly over the water using a powerful water jet and pressure. Sensations guaranteed!

Little brother of snowboarding in aquatic version, wakeboarding appeared at the end of the 80s. On the water or in the air, you will have a blast! Supervised by Laurent Delacroix, captain of the French team from 1998 to 2000 and coach of the French hopeful team, the Wakelagoona wakeboard school is located in a very nice spot. At Osmosia Wakepark, Tom Gradt, a competitor with a BP Jeps diploma, is in charge of the wakeskate, wakesurf and ski lift sessions.

Just 10 minutes from Bidache, the Poney-club des Iles team welcomes you in a safe, family atmosphere for an introduction to horse riding. From the age of 3, your children can be accompanied by DE instructors and gradually tame this intelligent, soft-coated creature. Whether outdoors in the riding arena or indoors in the indoor arena, this activity is available all year round, whatever the weather. During the school vacations, courses and rides are organized. Your children will love this privileged contact with ponies in the great outdoors.

In the heart of La Bastide-Clairence, a village classified as "France's most beautiful village", Jungle Canoë offers an ecological experience for all to (re)discover the Basque Country and its lagoon. Located in the heart of the Périgord Noir in the Dordogne, the La Marterie golf course (Par 73, 5,748 metres) is part of the Glofy network. It offers players a beautiful hilly course (good legs or an electric cart are required) of 18 holes with water hazards and bunkers, between forest, heather and broom. La Marterie golf course offers visitors a practice area, a putting green, a pitching green and a practice bunker. The main advantage of this course is that it can be played all year round, as rainwater does not stagnate.

Situated at the foot of the Rhune, the Centre Equestre Sainte-Hélène, the largest in the Basque Country, enjoys an exceptional setting between land and sea. Its outstanding facilities include a covered riding arena, a small arena, a stable for clubs and owners, a round pen, an equestrian stadium and a club house. From the age of 2 to the most experienced riders, a team of professionals is on hand all year round to guide, accompany and introduce you to the art of horsemanship.

Ti Goui Goui is a 1,000 m² playroom for children aged 0 to 12. On the program: jumping, sliding, climbing, running, climbing, dancing... A special area for 4-12 year-olds features giant slides, ball cannons, a spider tower, zip lines, trampolines, mini karts, ball pools, a construction zone with large interlocking blocks, and even a mini disco! At the gateway to Biarritz, you'll discover the Arcangues golf course and its exceptional setting, a favorite of professional golfers, created in the 1990s by brothers Guy and Jean d'Arcangues on the property surrounding the village.
