Just a few months after the opening of the Glass House, Château Carbonneau has been awarded a Best of Wine Tourism 2019 in the "Estate Catering" category. Part tea room, part wine bar, the Glass House is the perfect address for afternoon tea. On the menu: a wide selection of drinks (fruit juices, world teas, coffees, etc.), scones and delicious cakes. All pastries are homemade. More of a savoury fan? In that case, opt for the aperitif boards, accompanied by a glass of wine from the estate.

The "Danser sous la plume" bookshop offers a selection of books that are as many encounters with their authors. The benefits of reading are numerous! Whether classics, must-reads or masterpieces, you'll find different kinds of books that will transport you to other worlds. Themes include love, ecology and fantasy stories for children and adults alike. The bookshop also offers author signings, and is carefully designed and decorated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Its location opposite the Château adds to its romantic atmosphere!

Here is a pretty British tea room just a stone's throw from Pellegrin University Hospital. Here, British cuisine is in the spotlight from breakfast, consisting of scones, soda bread and Guiness Bread (two Irish breads). At lunchtime, the meal is adapted to the market products and the seasons. In the summer, you will be tempted by a gazpacho, a roasted vegetable tart and, of course, for dessert, a slice of carrot cake! Almost all the products are from organic or sustainable agriculture. As far as drinks are concerned, we love ginger beer, a very refreshing non-alcoholic ginger ale, and IPA BrewDog beer with its fruity and tropical flavours. Tea Cosy also offers tea, served in a teapot.

Take a seat, it's soft, cocooning, tangy, enveloping... For a sweet break, you can enjoy Luce's homemade cakes, which she bakes according to her whims: cheesecake, chocolate moelleux, carrot cake, brownies, marble cake, apple-almond-spice cake... There's an embarrassment of riches to choose from! To accompany them, take a Compagnie coloniale tea (which you can buy on site), a local beer or a homemade drink: matcha latte, sweet coffee, milkshake... Here, everything is "made with love"! And at lunchtime, the savoury tarts are just as tasty.

Books and Coffee always makes you feel good! Located on rue Saint-James, this successful coffee shop boasts a beautiful interior space and a small sunny terrace overlooking the Grosse Cloche. You can eat or drink here at any time of day: breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea, afterwork... At lunchtime, salads and toasted sandwiches are served on their own or as part of a set menu. Adjacent to the tea room, the burnery and patisserie offer the opportunity to do some gourmet shopping.

After working with Christopher Coutanceau and at Le Bistrol, Théo Chéreau has returned to his home town. For the past 3 years, he has been offering the people of La Rochelle the chance to sample his pastries in his pretty tearoom, ideally located just a stone's throw from the Halles. A unique and tasty place in the heart of historic Bayonne, Coffee Muxu is inspired to travel the globe, drawing its DNA from the Basque Country. Here, you'll discover gourmet, fair-trade, artisan-roasted coffees, brunch classics revisited with a Basque twist, using selected local produce. On the premises or to take away, you'll find homemade granola with fromage blanc, organic boiled eggs with mouillettes and AOC cheese, and a gourmet plate that, as its name suggests, is XXL in size! After the Pâtisserie de Famille in the heart of the Ha (a) ïtza hotel, the Téchoueyres family has opened a new patisserie, designed by Philippe Starck. La Pâtisserie de Ma Fille boasts a pleasant terrace on the Place des Marquises in Arcachon's summer town. Here, you can enjoy an excellent hot chocolate. And what about the pastries prepared by Antony Prunet! Each one is more appetizing than the last: gourmet, but not too sweet.

In La Rochelle, coffee on the Old Harbour is an institution, but you can also enjoy it after you've filled your shopping bag. Opposite Les Halles, this roaster has over the years become a landmark for those who want to enjoy quality coffee. Le (Petit) Café is the perfect place for Gujannais to meet up, chat or work while enjoying a delicious meal. Because more than a café, it's a kidsfriendly tea room (with board games) that Jennifer chose to open at the same time as she came up with the idea of a change of scene. With seating for 20 and a small terrace, Le Petit Café has all the makings of a great place! All day long, Jennifer serves hot drinks and delicious cakes made by l'Atelier d'Esmé. Not to mention a 100% home-made savoury offer.

Right in the center of town. A pretty, tastefully-decorated, all-wooden tearoom for brunches, lunches and local, seasonal and often organic snacks. Urban vegetarian cuisine, with vegan options: buns and pans bagnats, soups and gazpachos to enjoy on the spot or to take away with a hot cup of excellent tea. Brunch will get you in the mood to explore Bressuire, the coulée verte or the château gardens. Option to compose your own plate. In front of the Plaza, a bar and a tea room have been created, open to all, facing the large beach and the casino. An Art Deco setting where you can plunge back into the atmosphere of the Roaring Twenties, an interesting space on two levels and as a bonus by large bays, the animation of the street on an ocean backdrop. Here you can taste the old-fashioned hot chocolate, the various great teas and coffees accompanied by pastries from Henriet. An excellent initiative. And a very pleasant break that can also be extended in the evening, with very pleasant musical entertainment such as jazz evenings with snacking possibilities, "Les Encas du Plaza".

Located in the heart of Bordeaux's Sainte-Colombe district, Café Joyeux is a café-restaurant that opened in 2020. You can stop in at any time of day, for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Our dishes are fresh, homemade and adapted to the seasons. The menu includes croque-monsieur, quiches, gourmet salads, pastries and hot and cold drinks. A vegetarian option is also available. Café Joyeux Bordeaux Sainte-Colombe offers a pleasant setting for daytime dining. The café also offers a takeaway service, but no delivery.
