Village halls and multi-purpose halls New Aquitaine

During its renovation in 1990, this former fish market dressed its beautiful white stones in steel and glass. Theater, dance, music: the programming of La Coursive shows an eclecticism that rhymes with quality. The "small" theater Verdière alone symbolizes the spirit of the place, with 385 seats, it offers a proximity between the stage and the public. Since 2018, La Coursive has been getting closer to the Coupe d'Or theater, sharing no less than 11 shows in common and setting up free buses to discover them.

Located in the heart of Cenon's Palmer Park, the Rocher de Palmer opens its doors to world music and culture. This cultural facility comprises three concert halls and offers programming centered on jazz and world music, with detours into hip-hop, electronic music, classical and dance. In addition to a resource center dedicated to world music, the Rocher de Palmer offers a wide range of discovery activities, including workshops, masterclasses and meetings with artists. A unique cultural space!

The concert hall La Caravelle celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2017. Its very eclectic programming is largely the cause of its success: shows, concert, theater, cinema, circus, exhibitions, art workshops and gourmets etc.

Built in the 1960 s, this space of more than 5,000 m 2 is located in the historic center of Bordeaux, between the courtyard Victor Hugo and the Alsace Lorraine course. It hosts professional basketball and volleyball teams as well as neighborhood associations. Between 2013 and 2016, the Palais des sports was the subject of extensive work to make its original function dedicated to sport (2700 places in galleries). It offers 750 parking spaces.

A vast complex combining a 12-lane bar-bowling alley with billiard room and games, a cinema (Le Fauteuil Rouge), a restaurant (Ô Bistrot gourmand) and an auditorium. The latter hosts a wide range of events for all publics, including the Salon du Mariage (November), the Grand déstockage (January), musicals, classical ballets and other extraordinary show-concerts (The Michael Jackson Experience, Catherine Lara, Patrick Sébastien and Celtics Legend to name but a few in 2023).

The municipality places the room at the disposal of local artists. It's then up to them to run the shop. Alternately, they rotate to open and close doors. Meanwhile, they do not hesitate to comment on their works and speak art with visitors. And every 15 days, they drop to leave room for the next. Because painters and sculptors, there are many on the island of Ré.
