The Confort Moderne is a bubbling place of the cultural scene of Poitiers. This group of rooms is a laboratory for the creation of contemporary music and art. On 8 500 m² of concrete and metal beams, remains of the old electrical goods store of 30 years ago, the Confort Moderne offers a large exhibition hall, a concert hall of 800 places, a club of 200 places, a bookshop, a restaurant, a record shop... This little theater has a very evocative name! It is ideally located in the heart of downtown, just behind the Place de Verdun. Close to several parking lots and bus stops, it allows spectators to come easily to attend a performance. In this little frequented street, the Comédie allows to spend a good moment, comfortably seated in the pretty room with 160 red velvet seats. The atmosphere is perfect for admiring the actors' performance. Moreover, many famous authors of the French-speaking humor came!

This room can accommodate 650 to 6 500 people with, for example, dinner for 800 guests, a cocktail for 2 500 people, large seminars… All this thanks to the modularity of space. The glass hall with its bar and panels is 1 200 m ²; The 2 800 m ² showroom has armchairs, a scene that develops or the, concealable stands, a first floor became mezzanine - possibilities are very varied. There is also a second reception room on the first floor, 100 m ², with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area in a spirit of lounge. It can accommodate 120 people seated and can be rented as well. Prices are very variable but, according to the estimate, can be very accessible.

As you enter, you'll be charmed by the warm welcome and cosy setting. When the weather's fine, make way for the terrace to devour the delicacies prepared daily by Florence and Adeline. From tarts made with local fruit to chocolate moelleux and the inevitable cheesecake on offer every Thursday, there's something for everyone! A word of advice: opt for the café gourmand.

The Biblio Café run by Louise, Aude and Hugues, former booksellers, is one of those endearing places where friendship and openness towards others have a special meaning. Our hosts wanted to combine relaxation and reading, and this is a successful bet! All the books are new or second-hand and you can "taste" them on the spot with a coffee or a tea or take them away by buying them. On the shelves, art, humor, ecology and even erotic books, but also comics, mangas, games... all in a retro and bright decor. But nothing is set in stone here: there are also readings, acoustic Irish music, sex or knitting cafés to discuss, and here is the magic that takes place.

The Casino de Dax is the ultimate entertainment venue, with 75 slot machines (smoking area available), 12 electronic roulette machines and 7 electronic blackjack machines. You can also play at one of the 2 blackjack tables in the evening from 9pm. In addition to the snack menu available during casino opening hours, the Casino brasserie, with its terrace overlooking the Adour, is open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. Utopia is not a cinema like the others! It is in the remains of the Saint-Siméon church, built in the 16th century, that the people of Bordeaux crowd into the dark rooms. Le Décanteur is a wine bar offering a wide selection of over 300 wines from various regions of France and around the world. On-site sommeliers will guide you in choosing the wine that best suits your tastes. The Décanteur team also prepares gourmet tapas. The menu is regularly updated in line with the seasons. Agen has a beautiful place thanks to Jerry, well known for the agenian nights, who has well surround himself with Julien in the piano (kitchen), he also well known of the nocturnal. Yes! Over the years, the Vintage Café has gained notoriety, until it has become a must-see bar in Bordeaux. Just over 10 years ago, Julien Brettes began writing the O'Byron adventure. And since then, it's been at the Mojo Café that he's brought out his guitars and ukulele to meet up with the faithful, but also to welcome newcomers. On his arrival, he was keen to reassure the regulars. Beers, cocktails, burgers, tapas and French toast are still on the menu! Not to mention live music. At lunchtime, Mojo Café offers a very affordable and tasteful menu, with a few dishes on the slate to suit all budgets.

Laughter and applause can often be heard coming straight from this little café-théâtre. That's right! The Médoc océan has its own café-théâtre, opposite the church in Carcans bourg. It's a wonderful initiative, thanks to Nathalie and Xavier. The shows are open to all, with special performances for young audiences and special evenings on New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. The venue has lived up to its reputation: people travel from far and wide for these evenings of laughter and relaxation! And before the curtain rises, we sit down to enjoy a few tapas.

The theater was built on the foundations of a former prison and inaugurated in 1935 by Sacha Guitry, who premiered his play La Fin du monde, created for the occasion. The work was financed by Georges Leygues, a politician born in Villeneuve-sur-Lot. He used his personal fortune. He died in 1933, never to see the work completed. In the beautiful 700-seat auditorium, follow a program that's eclectic and of the highest quality. Theater, dance, concerts, comedy, world cultures...

" Sax Y Rock "is a beer bar that offers no less than 52 varieties of this hop-based beverage. Every Saturday, there are themed evenings and every month, concerts. On Sunday, place video games, tournaments and transmissions on large screen screens all sports combined.

An address with its feet in the sand! But be warned: people flock here in the morning for breakfast with a breathtaking view of the ocean, at midday for a fresh lunch, during the day for a well-deserved drink in the shade of the shade sails, but especially after a good day's surfing or sightseeing, and for the long-awaited moment of sunset. This charming wooden shack perched on the Écureuils beach definitely lives up to its name: Rainbow Café, for a place full of color and flavor. A haven for surfers and gourmets alike, this beachside canteen caters for all tastes: detox juices, smoothies, buddha bowls, veggie bowls, avocado toast, vegetarian hot dogs... On the sweet side, you'll love the chia pudding, smoothie bowl, acai bowl or fruit salad in a half-melon. Everything is fresh, vitamin-packed and delicious. Who could ask for a better gourmet break in the sunshine by the ocean?

Practically under the Porte Saint-Jacques, at the end of Rue Vau-saint-Jacques, a troquet-pub-night bar where you can get away from it all on weekends. Le Coupe-Gorge, brewer of beer and music: concerts are organized every opening night; the program is announced well in advance on the storefront. The house brews its beverages by hand (using organic ingredients, as do the grapes). In summer, you can enjoy these nuggets on the terrace beside the Thouet river. Festive, convivial and warm, this address, housed in a sumptuously medieval setting, hits the nail on the head.

A great nature outing for the whole family! Welcome to the sentier des pas perdus. Here you'll find not one, but five labyrinths. Plunge into their mazes, get lost while solving the riddles and, above all, have fun! Between Laby'Bois, Laby'Gazon, Laby'Arbustes and Laby'Miscanthus, our favorite is the famous Laby'Infernal (made of corn), whose route through the ears of corn changes every year. Try out the sensory course and don't leave without trying out the pedal go-kart circuits. Fun guaranteed!

Rue Notre-Dame is undoubtedly one of the most pleasant streets in Bordeaux. This is where Carlos and his team have settled. In this small establishment, coffee is in the spotlight. On the menu, different varieties and methods: espresso, americano, caffè latte, mocha, filter coffee, siphon, cold extraction, affogato al caffè (iced coffee)... You can also buy your coffee : the fruity-vanilla of Guatemala, the floral jasmine blackcurrant of Ethiopia... In addition to the grocery corner, the Pelle Café is equipped with a pretty corner dedicated to coffee machines and their accessories, as well as an imposing roaster, at the back of the shop! For lunch, the establishment transforms itself into a restaurant by offering affordable formulas and a few dishes, vegetarian or not, to enjoy on site or to take away. Be careful, some noontimes, the wait can be a little long. We recommend a generous brunch consisting of a poached egg and grilled bacon, salmon or deli meats, a vegetarian tart, a basket of cheese, seasonal vegetables, fresh fruit juice, a dessert and... a coffee!

Since 1903, the Casino, housed in the sumptuous Château Deganne, has been the hub of the seaside resort (free admission). Test converted! For many, Point Break is the address that Claouey has been missing. A canteen for some at lunchtime, with a highly attractive 18-euro lunch menu (starter, main course and dessert), an afterwork or bar for others... With its shaded terrace, Point Break is all at once. A gourmet spot where you can enjoy a drink and tapas prepared on site by Marine and Antoine's team. Open from morning till night, Point Break comes alive in summer and winter with themed evenings and sporting events.

Annex of the Iboat, this atypical place with a crazy program animates the Bassins à flot district with its numerous events. Under this curious tent, you can attend rock'n'roll concerts, film-club sessions, retro dances, rollerblading parties, children's parties, flea markets and designer markets... The decoration made of bricks and mortar and diverted objects plunges us in an atmosphere of cabinet of curiosities very second degree. On sunny days, the place becomes a guinguette and we love to have a drink between two events.

Le Baryton is an incredibly dynamic community café. Every weekend, concerts and performances in a wide variety of styles are on offer: jazz, rock, reggae, blues, tango and theater... The rich program allows local artists and amateurs to perform in excellent conditions. The walls of the Café Baryton are also transformed into an art gallery for photo and painting exhibitions. Reservations essential for dinner! Prices are unbeatable and the tasty meal is prepared and served by volunteers.

The people of La Rochelle are music lovers and if many of them are waiting impatiently for the Francofolies, they are just as numerous to go to the Sirène. This human-sized concert hall is located in the heart of the La Pallice district. It has quickly become a must-see address for all fans of shows with a varied musical universe. For 10 years, La Sirène has hosted some of the biggest names on the international music scene. Moreover, it is easy to get there thanks to the shuttle bus offering a free return at the end of the concert.

Want to get out of the beaten trails? Take the road for the Monts Mountains and spend a moment at the Petit Coudier. Created in 1968 by Christian Pénicaud, he was witness to a happy holiday where people from the local corner and artists were found! After years of closing, Nathanaëlle, Christian's daughter decided to live the scene. Accompanied by Luc, she invests in the project and the Petit Coudier association reviews the summer of 2009. The old barn renovated, lost in a green setting, welcomes you on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays evenings and Sundays afternoons depending on the programming. Located around a small iron table forged or on the ground on the cushions, you will let the charm act. The grill fire-grill, the alliance of wood and stone and nice light touches: everything here is warm, to the image of the young owners! In the summer you enjoy enjoying the softness of the garden in the hammock, under the candlelight. On Thursdays, dinners are held. On Fridays, the scene is open to amateurs and concerts are organised on Saturdays. Sunday is theme day (philosophy tasting, children's tales, etc.). At Seb et Peyo's, you immediately feel the love of good wine and tapas. On the menu, you will find a wide choice of wines, mostly from organic agriculture. On the food side, they serve planks of cold cuts and cheeses, eggplant caviar, roasted camembert... The little extra? Seb and Peyo buy directly from local producers: a Medoc delicatessen in Saint-Estèphe, a Catalan in Figuères, the Jean d'Alos cheese factory in Bordeaux, the Bordier creamery in Saint-Malo... At Bergamote, the sweetness is as much in the welcome as in the gourmet offerings: macaroons, chocolates and marshmallows, golden pastries (including the famous New York roll that's all the rage), and superbly crafted pastries. The tartelettes fleurs, the signature dessert that changes with the seasons, are so beautiful you almost hesitate to eat them... But it would be wrong not to!
