Among the three succulent varieties of strawberries that have been created at the farm, the Capella is always a delight for gourmets. The farm also sells fresh products from small local producers (meat, cheese, yoghurts, butter) and, in partnership with a wine grower, some vintages of the Loire Valley. You can find spreads from Gourmandises de Ludo, honey from Nicolas Roux, spices and teas from Épices à ma guise, herbal teas from Mathilde Beaudoin, beef directly from Jean-Pierre Martin, foie gras from the Mitteault family (Vienne)... On the outskirts of Nantes, just a stone's throw from the Loire, you may be lucky enough to enter Philippe's shed, where he is passionate about his orchard and vegetable garden. We come here to do our shopping in a natural and exotic environment. We offer gourmet baskets with a wide selection of fruits and vegetables in season. In the Farm's section, you will find local dairy products, cold cuts, honeys, jams, sweets, fruit juices and eggs. When the weather is fine, strawberries from the garden and other seasonal products are featured. The children discover the animals: cows, ponies, pigs, donkeys, biquettes. In October, it is on the second site of La Chebuette in Saint-Julien-de-Concelles that organic apples and organic kiwis are picked!

The Rublé Farm is first of all a family story, that of Régis and Colette Boileau, joined by their son Benjamin in 2006 on the exploitation became organic. And it's also the story of passionate farmers who have been able to adapt and change their activity over time. Their dairy farm gradually diversified, with the creation of a cheese factory in 2008, followed by the creation of a vegetable activity the following year. In 2010, Martin (Benjamin's brother) joined the team to focus on beef production. At the Rublé Farm Store, there are naturally products developed on site: cheese and dairy products, vegetables, meat (beef, veal and pork), and there are also other products, of course: bread, pizza pasta, goat cheeses, drinks, fruit, groceries, hygiene and maintenance products.

Following the seaside in the direction of Saint-Marc, we discover a strange area, planted with towers, some of which are housing, facing the sea. Happy inhabitants who also have a small shopping centre where shops are very qualitative. In the Seasons, it is part of its fruits and vegetables and the rest of its ultra-fresh products, some of which are organic. The hotel also offers grocery and retail teas.

Opening in spring 2023, this small store at the very bottom of rue Plantagenêt offers organic, seasonal fruit and vegetables from a dozen local producers. Ultra-short circuits, just like the groceries in the back of the store: vegetable soups from Langevine, apple and pear juices, wheat flour, compotes, jams and ciders from Coteaux Nantais, bulk dried vegetables... The shop also acts as a relay point (Thursdays) for the Paniers bio solidaires project.

At 1 minute of the traffic circle of the Belle Étoile, place called Les Briords (direction Carquefou) there is a mental health establishment named Psy' Activ. Here, organic vegetables and fruits are produced. They also cook them to find them in the plates served in the restaurant Terre Happy. We also find plants and flowers to decorate houses and gardens. The difference is that the market gardeners and horticulturists are all patients of the hospital who are engaged in a course of treatment and social and professional rehabilitation. You can come and buy their produce (in the adjacent store) and even - from April to October - pick your own strawberries. In addition, the site has a Terre Happy vocational rehabilitation restaurant. There again, the patients are in charge of the kitchen and the dining room, and there is a second site, La Mainguais, where sewing, laundry, carpentry and stone cutting services are offered. Calling on Psy' Activ is above all a gesture of solidarity.

The story of Un cheval Un champ starts in 2013 with the construction of a trailer and the acquisition of 3 draught horses that allow the team to travel the roads of France. In Puy-Notre-Dame, they are entrusted with 5 hectares of land. Today, they use 10 of them. And have been recognised as quality producers at the Collège culinaire de France. Un cheval Un champ offers organic and seasonal vegetables: from bear's garlic to cabbage, peppers, potatoes and many others, as well as a fine selection of herbs.

The Lardière family is a mogette producer, but not only, since they also breed cows with passion, precisely the Blonde d'Aquitaine. A little reminder: the mogette is a dry white bean, with a grain with one end elongated. It is the flagship product of the farm, which also offers coconuts, flageolets, kidney beans and lentils. This GAEC offers you quality products, produced locally and family-owned through animal and environmental friendly breeding practices.

Alain Gambier and his wife propose the sale and tasting of apple and cider juice, as well as vinegar. Every cider has its own taste. Don't hesitate to taste theirs. The land has taste! The Ferme farm is part of the "Welcome to the Farm" network. These ducks operators will therefore be pleased to receive you and make you discover their profession. They also produce their cereals and their chickens, the Rental label. 

Muriel and Olivier, alias Olive and Mirabelle, opened this beautiful business in the Leclerc commercial area at the end of 2017. Passionate about their profession, but above all eager to offer their customers beautiful and good products from a sustainable cultivation method, they emphasize a fine selection of local products. On sunny days, the store is decorated in colour with a variety of tasty and original fruits and vegetables; during the season, for example, about sixty old Guérande tomatoes will be on the shop shelves. There is also a selection of cheeses, as well as a range of delicatessen products, including terrines, chocolates, biscuits and even atypical vinegars to be tested.

At the end of 2023, there will be a new change of ownership for this attractive greengrocer's store on Place Hérault. Also present at various open-air markets in the north of Angers, Benoît and his salesman offer a rich selection of fruit and vegetables, both organic and non-organic, often from small-scale local production, and at prices that have nothing to envy those charged at these same markets. The shop also functions as a local grocery store, offering honey, eggs, dried fruit, soups, jams, local cheeses...

At the heart of the Les Vergers d'Aulaines farm is a duo of apple and pear growers, Fabienne and Vincent, who cultivate no less than six hectares of orchards: 14 varieties of apples on 5 hectares, 5 varieties of pears on 1 hectare. At the farm you can find fresh fruit of different varieties, jams and fruit juices made 100% by hand. The fruits of the Vergers d'Aulaines are also offered for sale on Fridays, in the late afternoon, on the market place of Bonnétable and by the network "la Ruche qui dit oui".

In this other store of the Halles du Lycée managers, in addition to the greengrocer's shop, you can find delicatessen: jams, dried fruits, oils, terrines, preserves, spices... The fresh produce section is interesting, with real mozzarella di bufala, fruit nectars, a soup bar and excellent bottled soups, veloutés, gazpachos... Every week the Halles prepares an assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables in baskets of different sizes.

Laura has taken over and developed her talents as a farmer and market gardener in the "new" Bois des Anses farm in the Doulon-Gohards district (near Sainte-Luce and the east of Nantes). Les Vergers de la Silve has earned a solid reputation for the production of its apple juice, particularly its sparkling version. The company has been perpetuating its know-how since 1945. The fruit is picked by hand, pressed according to a traditional method, and bottled without any colouring, preservatives or added sugar. You will be able to discover different vintages: Prestige, Terroir or Luxury. For the latter, the company is inspired, for its bottle, by the codes of the great champagne houses. If you like apples, you'll love picking them yourself at the Maison de la Pomme. This family business has been opening its orchards to individuals every year from the beginning of September to mid-October for 50 years. It practices integrated and organic farming and offers about twenty varieties of apples and five varieties of pears (also cherries, queens, kiwis). Signs indicate where each variety can be found, and if you are unsure, you can taste at the reception desk to get an idea before filling your crates and wheelbarrow.

Biocoop Maraichine is an organic food store. It offers a wide range of organic products, including solid cosmetics, skincare products, bulk produce, seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheese by the slice from local producers, local wines and a selection of organic wines, as well as local Maraîchine meat. Customers can make their purchases in-store or pick them up on site.
