The Ferme Fruitière de la Hautière, in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, with its 35 hectares of crops and varieties selected for their gustatory qualities, is THE ideal destination to fill up on vitamins and fruit delicacies. In the completely renovated shop, you will find fruit and vegetables grown on site, but also products processed from local production by Alexandre, Benoît and their team. Many jams, compotes, sorbets, coulis and delicious fruit juices including the new strawberry nectars and sparkling fruit juices (strawberry apple, raspberry apple, lemon apple). Among the three succulent varieties of strawberries that have been created at the farm, the Capella is always a delight for gourmets. Let's not forget the soups whose benefits are no longer to be proven. The farm also sells fresh products from small local producers (meat, cheese, yoghurts, butter) and, in partnership with a wine grower, some vintages of the Loire Valley. You can find spreads from Gourmandises de Ludo, honey from Nicolas Roux, spices and teas from Épices à ma guise, herbal teas from Mathilde Beaudoin, beef directly from Jean-Pierre Martin, foie gras from the Mitteault family (Vienne)... The farm also offers fruit compositions and fruit or vegetable baskets on order, as well as gift baskets. Offering excellent products directly from the farm is an idea to share in any circumstance. Note the Hesperides garden open from May to the end of September, ideal for a stroll! Nature at a stone's throw from Nantes.

On the outskirts of Nantes, just a stone's throw from the Loire, you may be lucky enough to enter Philippe's shed, where he is passionate about his orchard and vegetable garden. His only master is the seasons, which punctuate his fruit and vegetable production. His working philosophy is not to rush nature. His agriculture is sustainable. At the Bellevue orchards, you'll find apples, pears and kiwis all year round, while the vegetables vary according to the season. Every autumn, Philippe offers tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, carrots and turnips. Radishes and lettuces come from a neighboring producer. You'll also find processed products made entirely in-house: apple and apple-pear juices. Finally, every Wednesday afternoon, a farmer comes to sell his produce: eggs, poultry and pork. The welcome is warm and the prices very competitive. Bellevue orchards supply many of the local restaurants, a guarantee of quality!

LES DELICES DE THAÏS

Thai delicacies are a family story that gradually fits around common values such as engagement (part of the exploitation will become organic), dedication (fresh and high quality products), transparency, originality and family, then it's not less than four generations that contribute to the smooth running of this. store. To be more precise, Thai delicacies are a store where fresh fruit and vegetable lovers come from. Fresh and original vegetables, as it is also possible to find atypical vegetables (on pre-order), like mini-vegetables, food flowers or germs, especially in the air of time. We obviously buy home crops, but also a whole selection of groceries (dried fruits, creeds, spreads, wines, juice…), local to the extent possible. A small selection of very affordable wines (3.50 € to 9.90 €) and the cheese chosen by Pascal Beillevaire. Once a week, "Kitchen is yours" proposes a playful and original concept: every volunteer can offer a simple recipe prepared from seasonal products and prepared on the spot at the entrance of the sales area. A delicious way to occupy a Saturday morning! Children are not there and several ranks are already reserved for the grocery store for an initiation to gardening, which promises these apprentices tasty discoveries at the time of gathering. The dynamism and friendliness of the team make Thai Delights a precious address, especially for gourmets who encounter some difficulties in getting cold bowl and other tubéous capucine…

The Rublé Farm is first of all a family story, that of Régis and Colette Boileau, joined by their son Benjamin in 2006 on the exploitation became organic. And it's also the story of passionate farmers who have been able to adapt and change their activity over time. Their dairy farm gradually diversified, with the creation of a cheese factory in 2008, followed by the creation of a vegetable activity the following year. In 2010, Martin (Benjamin's brother) joined the team to focus on beef production. At the Rublé Farm Store, there are naturally products developed on site: cheese and dairy products, vegetables, meat (beef, veal and pork), and there are also other products, of course: bread, pizza pasta, goat cheeses, drinks, fruit, groceries, hygiene and maintenance products.

PSY'ACTIV LÉGUMES BIOS

Market gardeners

At 1 minute of the traffic circle of the Belle Étoile, place called Les Briords (direction Carquefou) there is a mental health establishment named Psy' Activ. Here, organic vegetables and fruits are produced. They also cook them to find them in the plates served in the restaurant Terre Happy. We also find plants and flowers to decorate houses and gardens. The difference is that the market gardeners and horticulturists are all patients of the hospital who are engaged in a course of treatment and social and professional rehabilitation. You can come and buy their produce (in the adjacent store) and even - from April to October - pick your own strawberries. In addition, the site has a Terre Happy vocational rehabilitation restaurant. There again, the patients are in charge of the kitchen and the dining room, and there is a second site, La Mainguais, where sewing, laundry, carpentry and stone cutting services are offered. Calling on Psy' Activ is above all a gesture of solidarity.
